Democrats wanted no cuts and then conceded to $10 billion.
They ended up giving up $38.5 billion in cuts. They also had to agree to Federally Fundede abortions in Washington, DC

In my opinion, Bohner claimed he got the best deal he could.
The 0 man (0bama) would have made it such that the military would have been unpaid during a shutdown.

Some perspective. “Biggest spending cut in history” is $38.9 billion. Biggest spending package in history, the stimulus, was $787 BILLION.
Bohner should have held his ground on defunding EPA and NPR. He failed to frame the EPA issue in terms of destroying the economy with implementation of a debunked hoax. Defunding NPR is a no-brainer. The dems will fight to the death for abortion, so defunding Planned Parenthood should have been the throw away demand.

Come election time the GOP has to run on a record of ADDING 0ne trillion to the debt in 2011, another trillion PLUS in 2012, and another trillion in 2013.

The only meaningful item was defunding EPA. They did not get it. Planned Parenthood should be given a contract to implant birth control in all female welfare recipients and they should not get a check unless they and their little parasites are drug tested and rendered unable to breed while receiving the free money.
