That is one of my favorite pics! I just wish my kitties were like that.

They are typical cats.....ALL the way on the “I am cat” spectrum.

I am truly meant to get the kitties that most would find “unacceptable”.

I love them dearly and I know they love me....sometimes, but I wouldn’t trade them for the world!

That alone makes you very special! Cats are funny or strange when it comes to choosing people, aren't they? There was a stray in our previous neighborhood, and she would smell me cooking liver for my spoiled Pug, so she would sneak into the house through his doggie door to steal a piece of liver one piece at a time.

Well, I decided that I would buy some catfood for her and started putting it out by that particular doggie door and I starting sitting by that door. After a couple of days, she finally rubbed up against me and soon she was sitting on my lap in my computer room but wouldn't have anything to do with anyone else. She hissed at everyone else....LOL.

Lol....my 2 kitties I have left think everyone is out to kill them....including me!

Some of them certainly have uncanny personalities. I just let them live as they are intended to be.

But deep inside, I KNOW they know I am their mommy and do love me. Perhaps not in a “traditional “ sense, but I know they do.

They are safe, warm and well fed here, and seem happy (except when I try to kiss or hug them).

Whatever, they are who they are. Just knowing they know I am their mommy and have that love for me is enough.

I don't know what they've been through before I received them, but I'm sure their behavior has a lot to do with it.
