Some of them certainly have uncanny personalities. I just let them live as they are intended to be.
But deep inside, I KNOW they know I am their mommy and do love me. Perhaps not in a “traditional “ sense, but I know they do.
They are safe, warm and well fed here, and seem happy (except when I try to kiss or hug them).
Whatever, they are who they are. Just knowing they know I am their mommy and have that love for me is enough.
I don't know what they've been through before I received them, but I'm sure their behavior has a lot to do with it.
Right. You don’t know what they went through before you received them, but you have provided them with love, food and shelter, so they *do* love and depend on you, and you can be certain of that. The cuddly ones are *purrfect* but we always don’t get the perfect, just the needy.
