I will not vote for Milt the Stilt. I cannot believe Nuke is ahead of Sarah. That poll has to be rigged.

According to Bernie Goldberg last night - Trump has decided that he WILL run, so you might have that chance!

Mr. Romney captured the support of 21% in a broad, nine-candidate field. Mr. Trump was tied for second with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, with 17%.

If those were my three choices...I'd back The Donald, too. Perhaps those participating in these polls are a bit sick of seeing the same names recycled from 2007-2008 and are grasping for somebody new? So the guy is a bit of a caricature. He seems to truly love this country, has suffered the highs and lows of the private sector and doesn't cover his every word with the glop called 'political correctness'. That's three things you cannot say about the current resident of the White House.

Trump gets it with the Obama BC issue. Everyone knows Obama is not eligible to be POTUS.

He could not get these numbers otherwise.

That tells us the others are weenies. They talk about being Constitutional, but beg off when it comes to the ultimate issue.

I also do not believe Romney can be in the lead. But... one never knows. He may be in the lead with the uninformed. There are many people in that category anymore.

Many will not like to hear this, but.....

The nomination is Trump’s if he wants it.

And he can take down the Alien usurper.

“If I had to choose between Mitt and the Donald...I go with the Donald.”

I would go with Door #3. After Rudy, Mitt and Trump are the two biggest RINOs thinking of running for the GOP presidential nomination.

Tim Pawlenty and Herman Cain are much more conservative and far, far better candidates.

Even though I don’t think that Trump could win the Primaries, he is up in the polls because the issues he is raising are the issues Americans care about. His message is resonating, but IMO , not the right messenger.
Mitt can’t win either, unless it is such a GOP wave election that anyone but Obama would win.
Just like 2008 was a Dem year IMO no one could have beaten Obama.
2012 may just be an Elmer Fudd year!

If it comes down to Trump, Romney or Huckabee, for me, it's not even close - Huckabee.

For all of the Hucksters plentiful, almost innumerable faults, he could be counted on for one thing - nominating only pro-life justices to the Court and other lower courts. With these other two yahoos, who knows what you might get.

Both Romney and Trump strike me as the kinds of guys who could easily nominate a Souter-like Justice.

Also, solidly pro-life justices also happen to be right on many of the other issues too. You get a swishy pro-choice Justice, and you might as well say goodbye to the 2A, too.

Come on... every 5 days... another “poll” is shown with some liberal douche-bag in the lead... mitt... then huck... then pawprint. It is all propaganda that is designed to shape opinion... never to reflect it.

Many of Trumps business projects required others to have more skin in the game, lending to Trump the majority of capital for the project, profiting their leverage for him to profit from, and very often his projects are over priced, tend to run out of financial steam, have to be financially restructured where those he is indebted to get majority control over something that remains “Trump” in name only. We have no business giving him the keys to the White House.

Like Swarzenegger before him, he can, and is hitting some populist notes. Populism is no replacement for Conservatism.

Trump would be like Swarzenegger on steroids to the GOP, with his ego supplying the steroids. And we all know what a great benefit Swarzenegger was for the GOP, right?

Trump is the ONLY one so far that doesn’t sound like a politician. His support, IMO, is largely due to that. The peeps are sick and tired of politicians.

Poll of 1000 adults... polling subgroups were done by race and age and not one single instance of party affiliation. If one will follow the links to the actual flash presentation of all of the internals, it is so obvious how they manipulated their data to justify their predisposed outcome.
