Obama: No Yellowstone?!

Miles from Washington, President Obama on Wednesday tried to persuade people that they should care about keeping the government open — because if it shuts down, they won’t be able to walk around national parks.

Obama told clean energy workers in Pennsylvania that some of them are probably thinking, “What do I care?” They should care, he said, because a shutdown would stall small-business loans and mortgage work.

And, if any of them wanted to vacation at Yellowstone National Park, “you're out of luck,” Obama said. “You may have to figure out if you can get your money back,” he said.

He added, “These are things that affect ordinary families day in and day out.”

I’ll do without the vacation in Yellowstone Park and take it when your ass is out of the White House....

Station dealers have been trying hard to hold fuel prices on smaller, more out-of-the-way Colorado highways down before Memorial Day weekend. They usually like to keep spring prices down and surprise tourists with a big hike during the beginning of summer.

This year, they’re having a difficult time with it. It looks like fuel is going up about a penny a day, on average. ...a little over $3.759 now. It’s going to get really interesting after the end of May. ...shock and awe.

The Democrats love to say they appropriate millions of acres every year for the public so that generations of Americans will be able to enjoy “their” land.

Right. Look who holds the key.

My home is 154 miles from the west entrance to
Yellowstone. In past years, I’ve purchased an
annual pass for all national parks and visited
Yellowstone every two weeks from mid April to
September. The last two years I paid $80 for a
pass, but could only visit one time for a few
hours due to work obligations in San Diego. I
haven’t purchased my pass this year. It appears
Obama wants to take my money and lock the
park. To paraphrase Charlie Sheen...too bad
sucker...I’m keeping my money.

And so begins the hysteria....
By next week, the facts won’t matter a damn.
It’s very sad, and a prime indicator of just how far we have fallen, as a nation.

It’s $25 a car to visit the Grand Canyon. 6000 cars a day = $150K a day. If you can’t run a hole in the ground on $150k a day you must be...The Federal Government. A couple grand for bathroom cleaning, a couple grand for rent-a-cops to throw out the drunks and voila the park is open. What about the hotels, the restaurants, the mule rides... they are all private concessions who are happy to stay open.

This cat is probably the most ignorant waste of air I've ever known. Right, Zero we're all just sitting out here planning vacations because gas is 4.20 a gallon, the dollar ain't worth a dime and there's 20% unemployment.

Remember how the Lamestream eviscerated GHWB for asking about a laser scanner at a market just to make small talk with the checker?

2nd Amendment is legal in National Parks. You can enforce the law should you need to.

This is a president???? He sounds like a twelve year old being forced to do his homework.

Hey, ObaMao, you arrogant pr**k, the unemployed can’t afford a vacation there anyway. And even if they did, who is gonna pay $5 a gallon to get there? Shut it down!

Maybe he is clueless that most people are paying their DAMN TAXES this time of year instead of planning a vacation!

The local Kroger store just had a smokin’ deal on cases of beans and 4packs of toilet paper. We stocked up.

I believe our family is now prepared for a govt shutdown. Rock and roll.
