Trump warns of 'greatest scam' ever

It's official: Donald Trump is a "birther." But he'd prefer you don't use that term.

Speaking to MSNBC Thursday, the business mogul and improbable presidential candidate reiterated much of what he has said in the last several days when it comes to doubting President Obama's birthplace, declaring, "I am embracing the issue, and I'm proud of the issue. I think somebody has to embrace it."

That sloth Hillary has tied herself to Obama, she won’t be able to get away from that once the point is driven home.

Headlines from not too far in the future:

DONALD TRUMP Forces Resignation of the US Government!

As like the fall of Egypt, Syria and Libya comes the exposure that forced the resignation of many top US officials that were complicit in the 2008 election of Barack Hussein Obama.

Rather than facing exposure by the Donald Trump birther brigade that grew to a viral phenomena in a short period many officials from the Supreme Court to Congress have suddenly stepped down and are unwilling to report for work.

Alot of people have made alot of hay about Trump donating to Hillary.

But there is one thing people don’t seem to realize.

When you are as rich and as well-connected as the Donald, you hang tight with ALL the bigwigs.

No doubt he’s had dinner with Dims, and he’s had dinner with pubbies...

So when he “donates” to Hillary, I very much doubt that it is because he is rabidly backing her policies, as such. He’s donating because he’s known her for years and would look like a chump if he didn’t send her a few bucks.

My take on it, anyways.

I support him and I believe him. I think he’s a no-nonsense kind of guy who is DAMN TIRED of seeing American jobs lost, and America in general being dragged throughout the mud all over the world.

And I think the rest of the world would take him serious as well. If Donald told NutJob that Tehran wasn’t a good place to be, I’m kinda thinking NutJob would be on the first mule outa there!

Some deterioration reflects the character.

The face of Teddy Kennedy comes to mind.

Anyway, my reference was to the whole ball of suet that is Karl Rove, poster boy for the beltway nomenklatura.

Oh come on, his love interest before Michelle, Larisa Sinclair tried to speak out that heshe had carnal knowledge of Obama. Heshe was threatened with death. In fact, that is the reason that dolt Biden is VP, his son went after Sinclair.

Thats probably what happened to the “organist” at Jeremiah Wright’s hate whitey Church.

I don't understand the reasoning to call someone crazy for thinking he wasn't born here. Now, if someone said they thought he was born on Jupiter, then maybe that sounds crazy. Maybe those who think it's crazy, just don't think it's important issue that he's possibly an unvetted/unqualified candidate. Maybe that's the true root of it all...some people just don't care if he was born abroad. But, there is more to this than just the birth place, there is too much mystery about his youth.

I find it concerning that some people are so defensive and sensitive to the idea of researching, discussing, and even reviewing it judicially, that they want to dismiss the whole subject by calling it absurd.

And Hillary while in the Senate tried to help Obama in this bc issue so they are covering.

Like the Clintons blocking the movie Path to 9/11 probably because it would show how throughly incompetent they are.

Zer0’s worst nightmare: the eligibility issue being picked up by somebody so damn rich that he doesn’t give a flip what anybody thinks about him!

What would be more fun than the Hildebeast taking on Zer0 in the primaries?

I don’t think it’s about his race, that can be blamed on his mother since she filled out the form.

You know, until he is proven otherwise, I am going to interpret Trump as an older public figure who has been scandalous at times but now, in his “golden years,” may have decided to be a good citizen and cap off his career by taking on serious national problems by running for president.

He is bold because he can afford to be.

Can they call you a “tea bagger” too?

“Birther” is about on that same level, maybe worse.

Mika would just shut down the conversation like she did yesterday when the birther subject came up.

Total elitist censorship
Even afraid to just discuss it.

She is an insufferable, surprisingly uninformed, and un-educable bully. You really can’t explain anything to her.
If it is an issue that embarrasses libs and progressives it is just laughed off or ‘everyone does it’ - like the Schumer ‘extreme’ story. And dismissed - No Story Here.

I only watched because Pat Buchanan was on, but even he won’t take on the birther issue or challenge Mika. Buchanan is the only guy on that show that uses real facts in his arguments. Everyone else emotes.

To be NBC you have to be born ON U.S. SOIL, It doesn't matter who your parents are or what they are doing. If you aren't born on U.S. Soil ..... STOP RIGHT THERE.... No need to go any further. No need to determine your parents status.

Are you sure? What if two US Citizens married and then, as their honeymoon, took a year-long trip around the world and had a child on a ship in international waters just outside San Fransisco? (The child would be bound to no other nation.)

Why would the child NOT be a Natural Born Citizen? Amendment 14 only speaks of a person born in the US being a Citizen.. nothing of a person being born abroad.

What of a diplomat and his wife (let's assume both are American) on-assignment who have a child?
Would the child be an NBC of born in the halls of the Embasy?
Now, let's assume that the mother was rushed out to a foreign hospital because of some complication; would that make the child ineligible?

To summarize: it makes far more sense for "Natural Born Citizen" to refer to the parentage of the person rather than their birthplace... if it was just their birthplace then certainly any and all "anchor babies" would qualify to be President.

But I still wonder what Trumps game is. Is he really going for the POTUS?

The birth certificate gambit is reconnaissance by fire. He's pushing forward to see what kind of traction it gets him. There's a power vacuum on the GOP presidential field, and Trump is testing the waters by throwing dynamite in it.

If the response is poor, he can still get some attention for his show, withdraw without damaging his reputation (such as it is), and there will be no blowback. Everyone will write it off as Trump being Trump.

If his actions play well, and he can lure some major hitters from the left and right to attack him, then he'll be raised to their level as a fellow contender. Nobody wants to be the first to elevate Trump to this level, because this is a fight nobody wants. They're all hoping Trump backs out.

OR, if it plays so well they're afraid to fight him, and basically let him run wild, they'll abandon the field to a virtual outsider. No strong GOP contenders have appeared yet. Everyone is playing cautious and weighing their options. Play too cautious, or wait too long to start fighting, and you'll wind up like Rudy or Fred. Left in the dust.

I don't know what Trump is planning, but his actions indicate he's running a real game. While it may just be a publicity fake out, ... man, at certain point you realize that he's looking at pretty decent odds. This could have started as a joke, but if it goes on for long, Obama won't be laughing.
