'Let me be crystal clear': Furious female judge orders Wisconsin lawmakers ...

A Wisconsin judge has challenged the state in its showdown over an explosive union bargaining law as she ordered lawmakers to put the law on hold.

Republican lawmakers pushed through passage of the law earlier this month despite massive protests that drew up to 85,000 people to the state Capitol and a boycott by Democratic state senators.

Opponents immediately filed a series of lawsuits that resulted in further chaos that might not end until the state Supreme Court weighs in. Apparently she was ignored the first time: Maryann Sumi reiterates her temporary restraining order barring further implementation of 2011 Wisconsin Act 10 at the Dane County Courthouse in Madison yesterday

That appeared even more likely after the hearing yesterday, when a Dane County judge again ordered the state to put the law on hold while she considers a broader challenge to its legality.

She chastised state officials for ignoring her earlier order to halt the law's publication.

'Apparently that language was either misunderstood or ignored, but what I said was the further implementation of (the law) was enjoined,' Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi said during a hearing.

'That is what I now want to make crystal clear.'

Sumi is set to hear additional arguments Friday on the larger question of whether GOP legislative leaders violated the state's open meetings law during debate on the measure.

She also is considering Republican claims that the law technically took effect last weekend after a state agency unexpectedly published it online.

Can’t Walker simply judge-shop too, as did the unions? This corruptocrat’s son was an official with the AFL-CIO and SEIU and must recuse herself. Just get a different judge to permit the law, and ignore her ruling.

85,000 protesters? Where’d that number come from?
Oh, that’s right, the same place as her ruling. ; )

If one is declared irrelevant, is that the same as being ignored?

"Another case of left-wing black robed fever."

True, but don't you wish that Judge Vinson in the Health Care case had the balls and fervor that his woman has!

Keep in mind that her husband had also contributed thousands of dollars to several of the RATs On The Run.

Is she BIASED?

Things need to be made crystal clear to this thug: she will be impeached and removed from office as soon as the votes are available.

Americans don’t take kindly to judges thinking they are legislators.

If this is the same hag who’s Son works for the unions, Walker should get in front of the press and mention this fact to the public.

My chosen headline would be:

Judge thinks she rules Wisconsin, can veto laws duly passed by the people's representatives

As a student of the constitution it is my opinion that there is a concept of checks and balances. It extends to states.

Usually overlooked today is the check on the judiciary which allows Congress and the Administrative branch to ignore them when the court is off the hook. For that to happen a majority of the legislature must be in agreement or else they can impeach the administrative branch ( pres/gov/whatever ).

The courts have gotten this idea that they are beyond question. They are not and the reason they must never be beyond ignoring is because otherwise they would become the true and unelected rulers of the nation.

The corruption of Obama is everywhere. I feel we have seen the last of our freedoms and rule of law taken from us.We must fight for those who died for our freedoms and the future of our children.

Mu understanding is that not only is their a legal requirement for part of the state legislature to publish laws passed within ten days, but her original injunction did not name this body. So conflicting laws AND misdirection on her part. I would love to see her reasoning on the unconstitutionality since that is the ONLY standing that the judiciary has in any case.
