Schultz: 'Are You With The Terrorists, Or Are You With The President Of The United States?'
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

What's next: MSNBC hawking "America: Love It Or Leave It" bumper stickers?

The new fashion among the liberal network's anchors is to accuse critics of President Obama's Libya policy of being unpatriotic. Last week, we documented how Cenk Uygur did it. Now, it's Ed Schultz's turn. The man recently relegated to the 10 PM slot went on an extended rant last night, repeatedly accusing Republican critics of the Libyan operation of being unpatriotic. Schultz set the tone with his opening graphic. As you see in the screengrab, he branded Sarah Palin and John Bolton as "patriots, not" for questioning the president's conduct of the attack on Libya. But Schultz was far--far--from finished.

Schultz’s mind-boggling dissent-is-unpatriotic rant. Ping to Today show list.

At least Sergeant Schultz of the old “Hogan’s Heroes” was in the military. This clown has no credentials.

PMSNBC should be embarrassed to cut him a paycheck for this absurd drivel.

I’m only sorry that Sarah Palin didn’t interpret the President’s speech on Facebook. She could have used the two words that I’ve heard for more than ten years from the libs:

“Global Police”

When it comes to “Love It Or Leave It”, the RATs need to lead the way. I’ll sit back here clutching my guns and Bible to see where they end up.

Libya?

Iran?

Indonesia?

Who the hell cares?

There have been few if any moments in the past 26 months when supporting Obama on any of his actions could have been considered even arguably patriotic. Entering Libya so late was a terrible decision. Entering early, before our enemies took complete control of the opposition would not have been terrible, and staying out would not have been terrible. Obama made the worst imaginable decision, as usual.

Shultz features, as a guest, ALAN GRAYSON??!? The off-his-meds nutbag that made Florida a punchline for two years?

Shultz is as insane as Grayson.

If you’re a progressive, there would be no dissent.
We’d all be thinking the same thing, working the same way. You know, a real collective society.
What these bastards always forget is that there are quite a few that won’t work for the collective. The violence always comes when society fails and the productive refuse to work without incentive. Then comes the ‘purge’. Won’t be any different this time. Just spend some time on the ‘Red’ sites, They plan for violence. Stalin and Mao are their idols.

from the title I didn’t know if this would be fat Eddie or Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. Both are idiots of the first magnitude and like their namesake “Sgt. Schultz” - they both “see nothing”.

Schultz’s show exists for one reason - to blindly shill for the Democratic party. His Democratic (at that time) senators from ND solicited the MSNBC job for him.

We still know little about the group we cast our lot with in Libya, I would venture to say that a healthy percentage would happily due us harm if given the opportunity.

Yep. Schultz is a shill for the Dems.

...And not a very good one. I honestly don't understand how this guy keeps the tv gig. He's dreadful. Dumb, misinformed, tries to work Rush's shtick, full on outrage over everything. His radio show is equally as bad, but at least you don't see him.

Every time I see this fool I remember him calling out Dennis Prager for standing up for Bill Bennett (re: racism/black babies remarks). He demanded a debate with Prager. Prager heard about it and accepted on the spot. Then widdle Eddie found out that Prager is one of the smartest guys on the debate circuit and ran for the hills. It was pathetic. Although the way Dennis kept on him by everyday saying that he was ready to debate, would pay his own way, that Ed could chose the moderator was GREAT. Exposed the coward in a big way.
