I also wish he could understand what law-abiding citizens (as opposed to non-law-abiding non-citizens) feel about their chief law enforcement officer saying that he wants lawbreakers to "succeed."
And he's obviously sending a message that immigration laws shouldn't be as rigorously enforced as other laws. I don't care what posterchildren for illegal immigration the media manage to dig up: These alien scofflaws must be deported.

Perhaps Howdy Doody should come to my job and see how well HIS illegal immigrants are doing!!The women come up to my register with their husband/boyfriend and 2-3 children. They ALL pull out WIC paperwork. After WIC they then buy vegetables with WIC/CVB. After that comes the shrimp, steaks, large packs of chicken, certainly food most of us couldn’t afford to buy, and she pays with foodstamps. Then the husband/boyfriend steps-up and puts toys, clothes, cell phones, prepaid minute cards and electronic items on the conveyer. He then digs in his pocket and pulls out a wad of 50 and 100 dollar bills that would choke a horse. NONE of them speak english and most are all very rude and arrogant. Meanwhile I’m the moron standing there lifting and heaving until my arms hurt and my legs to sore to stand on. SUCCEED !! They already have!

Marxism seems to seek and require a large underclass, a large measure of discontent and unrulyness, rooted in entitlement, rather than human rights, forever blurring the clear lines between the two. Is this ever increasing, methodical shaping of America not the perfect scenario to make of illegal Mexican aliens, a useful tool?
The numbers of aliens attending college and universities contrasted with those who are minimum wage earners or laborors is missing here. Also, the numbers of aliens who are unemployed, or with criminal records, are missing. The number of aliens who have been here for decades is also missing.
Broadly, Americans are going to oppose the extremes of the two camps. I believe they will say, first, “do no harm”.
1. American voters are unlikely to “send home” each and every alien, just to make a point. Our government has encouraged this alien invasion and actually sought it by its purposeful and orchestrated failure to enforce immigration laws.
2. Americans are just as unlikely to declare blanket amnesty just to support the dang democrat party. Our government can not just declare that sympathy and permissiveness has the force of law towards aliens who are chronically unemployed, unattached to family in the US, without a US sponsor, or are criminals.
States should enforce existing law, undercutting the vehicle the marxists are using, at the federal level, against the Republic.
It’s way beyond time to end all immigration for a couple of decades, at the very least.

The moment you slow down to the speed limit you are in compliance with the law. For an illegal alien to comply with our immigration regulations they MUST return to their home country.
The majority of illegals when apprehended sign a ‘voluntary deportation’ agreement with a Border Patrol Agent which gives the US permission to return them to their home country. If they are presented before a judge and found guilty of “unlawfully entering the US” then the judge writes a judicial order for them to be returned either immediately or after a prison sentence. Should they return again and be apprehended then it’s a felony and automatic prison time.
