Cars will be banned from London and all other cities across Europe under a draconian EU masterplan to cut CO2 emissions by 60 per cent over the next 40 years. The European Commission on Monday unveiled a "single European transport area" aimed at enforcing "a profound shift in transport patterns for passengers" by 2050.

Well, even if this manages to go all the way through ... I'm pretty darn sure that some people will still have cars. But the peasants? Not so much.

Their economies will just crumble even more. I guess they enjoyed those riots.

This will not lower emissions.
This will create cities that are donut shaped - the inner, car-free zone will be left by business, retail and homes and they will relocate to the suburbs that are not car-free.

Ray LaHood is green with envy of the EU dopes.

That will be a rant for the ages.
I could almost imagine him being willing to move across the pond in the face of that travesty.

Did you watch the US version of TG?
There were a few moments that were enjoyable, but for the most part it just didn’t work for me...

Europe continues to double down on stupidity. Heck Europe won't exist in 2050, at least not as we think of it. Every time I travel to Europe and people there ask me what I think of Europe, I tell them sure glad my ancestors made the boat ride. It drives Europeans crazy and I love it. Europe is finished but most people cannot read the writing on the wall.
