I wonder if anyone will connect the dots between this little pony and all the horse evolution pictures in the biology textbooks? It ain’t evolution from one species into another, just the amazing changes within a particular species due to the information in its DNA.

You got that right, it would take the whining for pony to a whole new level. My in-laws use to raise miniature horses and donkeys when there was money in it, they would have done anything to have on that small.
It looks dwarfy to me. The head is out of proportion. I’ve been around minis for a number of years and usually when they get that small they are dwarf.
Cute little guy though.

LOL. I love the way the big horse is looking at the camera, as if to say, “You’re kidding, right?” Or “Where do the batteries go?” Or maybe just “WTF?”

Einstein shows several dwarf characteristics. The size of his head compared to his body, the short length of his neck, his terribly roached back (although I admit that can not be seen in this particular photo, it is CLEARLY obvious in the photos as he ages). So sad to see such a poorly conformed horse held up for the public to view as a miniature horse. There are so many shining examples of what a well conformed miniature horse looks like. He’s such a sweet little thing, so sad to see him being paraded around as something he isn’t. I hope his deformaties don’t cause him pain and suffering as he ages, but sadly I know they will. Poor little guy.
