Just watched a bit of FNC on Libya. One question I have, not asked so not answered, is where are the rebels getting their equipment? I mean, FNC mentioned a tank (or tanks). Where do you get a tank? It's been a while since I've been in a Walmart, but I don't remember seeing any tanks there, much less for sale.
Bottom line: who is funding the rebels?

buuumer boy is their friend and protector. (His new ROE has resulted in DOUBLING the deaths of OUR troops - and protecting the enemy - is proof. (the media no longer reports on troop deaths = have you noticed? Have you cared? Has America cared?

One source told US officials in 2008 that for young men from Derna, a city east of Benghazi, “resistance against coalition forces in Iraq was an important act of 'jihad' and a last act of defiance against the Gaddafi regime... including the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG),” So is this who we are protecting?
If not - just WHO ARE we protecting? anyone know?
This did not appear to be a genocide nor a pending genocide - but a CIVIL WAR in a SOVEREIGN country that was threatening no other country and not a threat to us.
With the reasons bummer boy gives for this action, it sets a precedence to bomb the hell out of any country, any time we want.

It kind of blows away the notion of “You are either with us... or against us”. If Libya was cooperating in gathering intel on al qaeda... then daffy had been turned from siding with the radicals to siding against them. He also gave up his nuke program... and even though he had apparently flipped over to our side... he gets destroyed for the effort. Seems screwed up all the way around, imho. I blame obama 100%. If he and his administration weren't such total light weights, this crisis could have been defused long ago. Egypt could have turned out differently. Almost any other president but hussein and catah could have handled it properly. obama is now destroying the world. What a guy!

According to Drudge (radio show) the region in Lybia fighting hardest against Gaddaffi (sp?) is the same region where most of the foreign fighters in Iraq were from and fighting against U.S. Apparently in Lybia, we are aiding the terrorists who fight against us in Iraq, probably Afghanistan.
