<<...not exactly a winning strategy my friend, but rest-assured youre in good company with others on this board as well as on Democratic Underground.>>
John McCain, is that you?
Of course, we should stick to the principled, high-minded route because it’s worked so well for the last several decades. ///
I’m beginning to have difficulty differentiating between maintaining the principled high-ground and cowards “righteously” ceding ground to the Left. But, hey - at least we’re not stooping to their level, right?
Screw that. Time to take the bad guys to the mat. Some prefer to stay in the bleachers claiming the high moral ground..so be it. The fight for the direction of our nation happens on the mat, not in the stands.
Keep the Faith.
I take it you are humor impaired. People here try to have fun quite often with our posts.
If you take every word literally; you will be very frustrated.
If you took my post literally; that I think we should actually blame every negative thing on Obama; you badly missed the point.
I worked long and hard for the Barry Goldwater campaign in 1964 and though I am a senior citizen, I well remember those years even today:
The 60's were a real turning point in America. This truly good man, a genuine Constitutional Conservative who exemplified American Exceptionalism was destroyed by the diabolical left with underhanded tactics, notably the vile "Daisy" commercial which wrongly painted as a trigger-happy madman with his finger on the nuclear button.
Since that campaign, my attitudes about what's justified in political warfare have changed considerably. Therefore, I make no apologies for tarring Obama with broad brushes. Even if he's not directly responsible for every disaster, if they occur during his regime, I sincerely that each must be hung as an albatross around his neck. We're on the side of Angels. Consequently, I have no problem with stretching the truth to frustrate the 'RATS, liberals, Marxists and commies.
And in my opinion, the only thing wrong about Watergate was that some good men were hung out to dry. The blame lies with the anti-American, leftist Washington Post and Kay Graham's staffers for that.
The lessons I was taught in 1964 are unforgettable. I have no second thoughts whatsoever for any strategy (short of violence, of course) that brings discredit to the evil Marxist and his minions now holding office. We must ensure that he and his administration are turned out of office in the 2012 elections. If it involves some so-called "dirty tricks" (and a latter day "Daisy" approach), so be it.

There is moratorium on drilling in the Gulf, not possible to have spill.
There is a MORATORIM FOR US DRILLERS IN THE GULF. cHINA, BRAZIL AND EVERYONE ELSE CAN DRILL.
It’s from a dredging operation..not an oil slick..It’s being tested to make sure.(TEE VEE ...no source)
Muck raking ,huh. Makes sense.
Of course the timing is right there.
Jefferson official on reported oil slick
On Sunday evening, Jefferson Parish Councilman Chris Roberts sent the following information to the WWL Newsroom concerning the reported oil sheen on the Gulf off the Louisiana coast:
After speaking with the USCG they have confirmed there were no well fires within the past 24 hours south of Grand Isle. Commander John Burton (USCG) of Morgan City has confirmed a plug and abandonment project that occurred south of Grand Isle yesterday.
Commander Burton indicated there was a 4-6 hour release of oil to the water and the source has been secured. The USCG has activated their pollution fund therefore ES&H has been contracted and they are responding with remediation capabilities.
Analytical results concerning the samples that were taken on yesterday are not available but are forthcoming. Commander Burton has also dispatched a team to conduct sampling of the oil that was located this morning. The scientific support coordinator for NOAA is currently preparing spill trajectories in an attempt to pinpoint the source of the release. Additional Updates to Follow.

Coast Guard is saying it is Mississippi River mud (sediment).
I created a breaking news thread on the discovery that it is not oil so that people will be updated. That thread is not really breaking news but it lets people know we don't have an oil spill in the Gulf (good news!)
But if that info can be updated into this thread, all the better.
I can't believe how much I have been posted to Admin Moderator lately, but I have been trying to be responsible...
So sediment floats, has a shiny sheen, and has a strong oily smell? Gee, learn something new every day. sarc/ After the BP spill, I won`t trust anything that the Coast Guard says.
Your updated headline is incorrect.
According to today’s Wall Street Journal, they still don’t know the cause of the possible oil spill...

I didn’t have anything to do with the update, the mods must have done it.
Maybe you could ping them to the WSJ update.
