Poor baby . . .
Barack Obama's complaints about the burdens of his office have found a sympathetic ear in the person of Tina Brown. The Newsweek/Daily Beast editor has claimed that PBO "does have the worst inbox of maybe any president in history."
Brown made her history-defying declaration on today's Morning Joe.

Tina Tina Tina, have you noticed that your messiah hasn’t been in the office long enough to notice that the inbox is full?

When you go around bowing to every potentate, or tinhorn dictator and apologizing for everything America stands for, it is like wearing a “Kick Me” sign on your back. Sooner or later someone will do it. Add to that that the guy sitting in the Oval Office has never held a real job and has gotten by on affirmative action and voting “present” and you've got amateur hour on the Potomac. If 0bama put in a full work week, it might help. No sympathy here!

He’s got so many fires to put out because HE is the one pouring gasoline on all of them. Or, at best, just standing by and watching the flames spread out of control.
To: ProtectOurFreedom
Worse, he was signalling to the arsonists that he’d do nothing to them, or to stop the fire, if they wished to start one.

I think HST surprised them. Why they thought he was soft after Hiroshima and Nagasaki is beyond me.
While he is not often put in the pantheon, I think Truman ranks right up there with the best of our Presidents.
He is the only man ever to have to make the decision to go nuclear and he did it twice.
And he was the first post-war Free World leader to be challenged by communist aggression and he faced it head on with force over the objections of most of the American people.
Think how different the real-politik would be if he had been soft.

Sorry, Obama was the beneficiary of the most thorough and structured transition of administrations in US history.
The Bush Administration took many steps, a good number of which had never been taken before (including a series of wargames with incoming/outgoing direct counterparts) to make sure that the Obama Admin could hit the ground running.
The POTUS with the really sucky inbox was Bush. Not only did he have an abbreviated transition due to Gore’s refusal to concede, members of the Clinton Administration were doing things designed to undermine the incoming administration.

Soon they will be telling us ‘no other president has had to deal with all these events that Øbama has ‘, yadda yadda yadda

"Pretty sure Clinton was the first President to have an e-mail address."
Not quite sure what you mean by this - are you referring to his email inbox? And by extension believe the article refers to Obama's email inbox?
You do know that "inbox" is not exclusively a term found only in today's virtual world, right? And that people actually have trays on their desks they use to hold incoming and outgoing paperwork?
