Pissant's PDS was a classic illustration of how a person's unmanaged personal problem can derail his critical judgment. Too bad he wasn't man enough to do something about it. Too bad for him that is. Maybe he can find a home at HuffPo or some such.

*******************************

I don't know what caused his dislike of Sarah. It's difficult for me to believe, though, that he doesn't already regret what he said, because it caused him to be banned from FR. What other site compares to this one? Where else could he have the ability to influence so many people?

I don't know how pissant felt on the inside, but I never believed that he disliked women. That he was disappointed in Bachmann's performance in New Hampshire seems to me to be evidence of that. Pissant was a strong, unwavering supporter of Duncan Hunter, who is a happily married man with children. He may be a traditionalist, but I'm not going to hold that against him.

Yes, pissant liked Bachmann, so I think his remarks against women were just him being micshievous and not serious.

That said, I always thought his anti Palin behavior was hypocritical because he himself so worshipped Duncan Hunter, a guy who voted for the Perscription Drug Benefit, the Auto Bailout and the Freddie and Fannie Bailout.

I mean what the heck is that all about.

LOL!

It was only a matter of time. Can’t say as I’m sorry to see him go.

Damn, pisser sure looks like he has had better years in this pic of ‘him’!!! His hatred of our Sarah was so far beyond the pale that I could just never understand it, altho there was some FR speak, (and his previous posts against women overall), that stood out. Sarah and Michele B. our our last hopes.

I’m not surprised that he’s gone.

His posts were always over the top and his ‘for what it’s worth’ comments were just a cover for his true sentiments.

“You’ve got to stand up and be counted, if you’re a Conservative. If you’re not, just bow out and let a real patriot take your place.”

Why don’t you go screw yourself.

I’m sorry you haven’t learned this lesson yet in life, but here it is.

The best way to defeat any cause, is to place pretenders in leadership so that a person who really understands the cause and will push it forward doesn’t get a chance to leaq.

Real Conservatives don’t introduce and push through massive Leftist policies like Medicare Part D. Real Conservatives don’t run cover for people from foreign nations who break through our borders, destroy our infrastructure and steal resources away from citizens. Real Conservatives don’t participate in the rehabilitation of failed Leftist presidents. Real Conservatives don’t stand by and watch as the education system sinks even further into the primordial muck. Real Conservatives don’t double the budget of the Department of Education in their first term. Real Conservatives don’t increase the existing federal debt by 92% during their terms in office. I could go on. You wouldn’t listen if I did.

Why should I go screw myself, when I’ve got Republican presidents and their blind supporters already screwing me?

As much as I think we need diversity of opinion here, consistent crudity is just not acceptable. I think you gave him adequate warnings and he was due to get the boot.

Questions though, doesn't FR also put users in temporary moderation suspension? i.e. their posts are to be reviewed before they get posted. I know that takes up a lot of the moderators time, but a question from me - is that used as the last resort before banning?

I had my doubts about Palin (and no doubts at all about Romney — he’s a loser and a waffler ;-P), but after the way she handled herself in India and her 22-Feb announcement on a no-fly zone, in my studied opinion, she is the best choice for President in 2012. I wish she got some more experience running things before she takes the job, or that she gets Bobby Jindal as vice-President, but if you look at the list of candidates from both parties, she is the only one with the integrity and ability to be worthy of this job.

I can’t answer you questions with certainty or with any special knowledge.

I suspect that each case is handled on it’s own merits. I believe the moderators try to be fair and consistent.

pissant was given a public warning to “knock it off” on at least one occasion. I, as well as others, tried to talk sense to him. He was given ample warning(s) and more than a reasonable amount of time to change his behavior, he refused to comply.

pissants’ habits/insults and violations of posted rules did not stop or diminish, he just got worse until he finally crossed so far over the line that he didn’t leave any other reasonable alternative. He got what he worked for.

Of course I wouldn’t know with certainty what goes on behind the scenes, but publicly, there is an appearance of fairness, he was warned and he knew full well what the risks were for his continued offending behavior.

In my view, his last post, in and of itself, was sufficient to get anyone the boot.

Oh, I agree that the Admin Moderators are pretty fair and consistent. Though I normally glaze over pissant’s posts, they were stupidly insulting. I use the term stupidly because if he didn’t support Palin, ok, he could have used a lot of other points to say why. he could have also pointed out in a nice way what he disliked about her, but he instead preferred to use some pretty dirty insults, such that conversation ended with his points. And that’s wrong. he rightly got the boot.
