I now know whose post was deleted, he's made the same comments on several other related threads.........He's sick and his comments make me ashamed to be an American.
I know. I have had that experience too (too often) on FR when I see something that isn’t really funny, but...I see something else entirely.
That photo just crushed me. Man, those poor, poor people.
Prayers and donations.
I know I will...
As I have been doing...
While we pray for the Japanese people; for God to help them; I pray also that God will turn their hearts to Him in their desperation...
Outside of Jesus, there is no one who can comfort these, or any people...
Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
English is taught as a mandatory second language in Japan.......There are more Japanese in Japan who know how to speak proper English than in our own Democrat controlled inner city schools.........
Hey, it works for Westboro, why not for GeronL?
I almost posted the same thought this morning. Thanks, nully.
Correct me if I'm wrong but there's no Westboro member here posting their racist rants........So why should GeronL be allowed to so do?
Ding ding ding .....we have a winner, no more calls ....
Thank you for posting this picture. It’s one of those that will never be forgotten. I close my eyes and still see it there. The devastation is not even something I can get my mind around.
One thing really bothering me, and perhaps I’m crazy, but I feel like I’m seeing a number of faces/sculls just under the spire around the middle of the picture and it is haunting me. Please tell me I’m nuts!
By contrast, after Katrina, I did not see a single instance of folks joining together and doing something as simple as putting up windbreaks or building a fire from refuse for their mutual comfort.
Nor did I see a single instance of anyone using a salvaged pot (or trash can) to boil water. (Every toilet tank above flood level had a gallon or so of clean water in it...)
But I did hear folks complaining bitterly that the bottled water delivered to them had no ice/I> in it... :-(
2 Corinthians 10:4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
So if you pray, your fighting a battle. Doesn't matter who you are, or how you pray, if your one of His kids, you got the power.
This is for your niece and her hubby. God bless them and keep a hedge of protection around them. Send them whatever it is they are in need of, give them peace and strength. In Jesus name Amen.
Thanks so much for that MsLady, what a beautiful prayer.
Your welcome!!! One of the easiest things to do is pray. It costs nothing to do, is more powerful than we can every imagine or comprehend and God does all the work :)
Yes one child can be the whole world.
praying hard...
After some mental debate, I gave to the Red CRoss.
If you were Japanese and you were marooned in a destroyed town after an earthquake, wouldn't you at least include the Japanese translation? Hmmm . . .
