This is frightening. Seriously.

How can intelligent people be so utterly stupid?

screwing with the world’s ornery climate system to the extent which we have is bound to have far-reaching effects — effects like huge amounts of melting ice causing the earth’s crust to “bounce” up, potentially triggering earthquakes.

Which makes sense.

I understand now.

My drugs are legal and just aren't as strong as his are.

>>The Earth isn’t held together by layers of ice that work like duct tape. <<

Which is really too bad. If the Earth was held together by dict tape it wouldn’t budge an inch.

Not only dumb, but incredibly insensitive to today’s tragedy... they care more about promoting their loony ideology than about the people who were washed away.

They are disgraceful excuses for human beings, the lot of them.

Without government grants, no jobs for the global warmers. They are still trying to revive their hoax and scam before they have to go out and apply for a minimum wage job somewhere. They better hope that the Republicans can stop “amnesty”. They can always pick grapes and strawberries.

Rising seas also change the balance of mass across earth’s surface, putting new strain on old earthquake faults, and may have been partly to blame for the devastating 2004 tsunami that struck Southeast Asia, according to experts from the China Meteorological Administration.

How much have sea levels actually increased in the past 30 year?

It couldn't have been more than an inch or two.

I take exception to this explanation. I heard (Rush?) that the Nissan Leaf and Toyota Prius are manufactured in the Sendai area. I think it is much more likely DumBO caused the earthquake in order to sell more Chevy Volts.

The Treehugger.

Walking through the woods a man comes up to another man hugging a tree with his ear firmly against the tree.

Seeing this he inquires, “Just out of curiosity, what the hell are you doing?”

“I’m listening to the music of the tree.”

“You gotta be kiddin’ me.”

“No, would you like to give it a try?”

“Well, OK...” So he wraps his arms around the tree and presses his ear up against the tree.

With this the other guy slaps a set of handcuffs on him, takes his wallet, jewelry, car keys, then strips him naked and leaves.

Two hours later another nature lover strolls by, sees this guy handcuffed to the tree, stark butt-naked, and asked, “What the hell happened to you?”

He tells the guy the whole story about how he got there.

While he was telling his story, the other guy shakes his head in sympathy, walks around behind him, kisses him behind the ear and says, “Sweetie, this just isn’t your day.”
