Madison - Hundreds of people in the galleries are chanting “shame, shame” as Republicans walk out of the Assembly Thursday after completing a quick vote on the budget-repair bill and adjourned. The bill passed 53-42.

I think - THINK the voted to pass the repair bill, then voted to adjourn and lit out of there.

This has to be the first time in decades in the US that a lawmaker had legitimate reason to fear for his immediate personal safety over his vote.
They voted no to adjourned and passed the bill, it's done....
All the repubs should have had orange shirts to put on as they exited!

That was it. Apparently the two hours of debate was up, the Speaker called for the vote, it took about 20 seconds, he asked if everyone had cast their vote, they closed the vote, moved for adjournment and the fat lady sang. Boy the dems and the peanut gallery were surprised, shocked and angry.
I laughed out loud. :0)
That was beyond quick. If you blinked, you missed it. It was that fast.
