Apparently, Soros is considering the possibility that people might some day want to be censored and live in a socialist society like China's.
He said yesterday at the Traveller’s Club in Paris, according to Dealbook:
“The world does need order, and that order needs maintenance. The idea that markets can correct their excesses turned out to be false.
“Perfect order and global governance are not realistic expectations. However, it is a sad fact that Western democracies provide less successful leadership than China.”

It seems some of the comments at Business Insider actually support Soros. Commenters like “Marine” Echo4Mike claim Soros is warning us of the impending loss of individual freedom. After reading the article several times, one might take away that message on its face. However, too many liberals like him and other commenters seem to forget (or don’t even know) Soros’ own statements about a one-world government and who should be its leader(him).
Soros attempted to break the Bank of England and devalue Southeast Asian currencies and was accused of insider-trading in France, all to benefit George Soros. If he doesn’t believe in one-world (Soros) government, I don’t know who does.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The only thing the left really didn’t like about the Soviet Union was that the Russians were in charge of it instead of them.
All members of the elite look to the ChiComs with such envy, it is truly frightening
