"Um, its after hours. The capital building needs to be closed, like a sane society demands. The protesters can spend the night on the streets."I believe that Governor Walker has every right to call out the State National Guard (they're non-union), and let them keep order. The Unionized police of Madison (and all over the State) have shown that they will not enforce laws against their Union brothers (and sisters).
You can bet the State-Run-Media will be playing up the "Un-popular legislation" and "polls show" angles 24/7 (they already are doing so on the SRM networks).
The calling out of the National Guard would be a great move, and keeping the protesters at a distance from the Capitol building itself would be wise, too.

Howard FinemanTime to bring back HUAC and put Fineman on the list of communist agitators named to testify about his support for subversives who are stealing money from US taxpayers and union members in support of communist union bosses.
No worker in the US should be held hostage to unions period, compulsory union dues are unconstitutional under the first and 14th amendments, and the unions need to be stripped of their ability to steal money from workers paychecks on a national level.
If the workers love unions so much they will be happy to voluntarily send them dues.
Theres nothing patently illegal about a POTUS issuing an executive order immediately ending withholding of union dues nationwide, and ordering the National Labor Relations Board to get a Federal Court Order enforcing the Presidents decision
Lets fight it out in the courts, and lets make it a campaign issue, with the promise to end compulsory withholding of union dues one of the first acts of the new GOP Administration.
Its stupid to allow the left (Communists) to use the same mechanism the IRS uses to fund themselves.

one of the reporters said that the assembly was going to be in session all night - and thus the Capitol would be open In the Assembly, the repubs are the majority. When they vote to adjourn til the next morning, then the session is over for the day.

"The unions must have spent a huge amount of money on this protest."Why not? It's just public employee union dues that came out of taxpayers' pockets, as always.
That's what this is all about: keeping the cash-cow known as "taxpayers" funneling money thru Union dues to the Bosses and the DNC.

The unions must have spent a huge amount of money on this protest.
One of the most under reported stories of the last election was how much money we cost the unions. (Of our money) Even in most of the races democrats won, they were forced to blow big bucks.
