The Senate - RATS - pro-death. We need to hang them with this.

Uh. I thought all revenue bills originate in the House.
Can’t they just cut off funding by killing the revenue for this and ignore the Senate and Obama?

At least three Republicans crossed over, assuming no “moderate” Dems crossed as well.. Who were they and are they running for reelection in 2012?

Democrat Senate can’t pass a budget bill? No surprise. They couldn’t pass any budget at all last year.

I'm given to understand that when the new House bill comes up for a vote. . . a bill that is even harsher than this one. . . 114 of the dem/lib/prog/pop representatives are going to exercise what has come to be known as the "Wisconsin Gambit".
That is...they will flee the country (rumor has it that they'll be staying in France...where they feel at home amongst their kind) so they don't have to vote.

The Senate can only approve funding or hold their breath. They can’t spend it.
If the house doesn’t send them what they want, all they can do is shut down the government.
The House would be smart to make this entire two years about the budget. Take one item at a time and pass it on to the Senate or reject it outright. Roll everything that is left into a continuing resolution until all that is left is crap. THEN go home and let the continuing resolution expire.

shut it down....the entire government...no more temporary spending bills....shut it down...resubmit the same bill with a different date on it, then shut it down

Completely expected. This is a lesson for those who expect the House GOP to attempt Large Things legislatively.
The Senate can and will vote down those things that endanger the Democrat platform, and Obama can veto anything that passes the Senate, without fear of being over-ridden.
That's politics.

The House Republicans need to keep doing this. Come up with their own budget, no compromise, that cuts at least $100 billion, including all pet projects from all Senators.
If they don’t like it, send a new one cutting $150 billion and cut all pet projects from all rat congress critters.
If they don’t like that, keep cutting until they agree. Keep upping the ante, in terms of budget cuts.
This will serve two purposes: weakens the rats and expose the rinos in a way that they do not want.
