NPR was jolted Tuesday by the release of a videotape that showed one of the organizations fund-raising executives repeatedly criticizing Republicans and Tea Party supporters.
The executive, Ronald Schiller, was recorded secretly by the Republican filmmaker and mischief-maker James OKeefe. On the videotape, Mr. Schiller tells people posing as Muslim philanthropists that the Republican party has been hijacked by the Tea Party and that Tea Party supporters are seriously racist, racist people. Mr. Schiller indicates that he is sharing his personal point of view, not NPRs.

But, NPR does not have a liberal bias. lol.
Well, the House already voted to defund PBS, so NPR should be a piece of cake after this.

As they’ve done before. Gutless wonders afraid to confront them head on.

Obama Is Stoking Racial Antagonism
<>
“Most Americans have been naively and blissfully unaware of this aspect of the left’s arsenal against the right. But now, just as more Americans than ever before understand the left’s limitless appetite for political power in an ever-expanding state, more Americans than ever before understand that a key to the left’s success is defaming the right. ....People are awakening to the seminal fact of left-wing success: The only way the left can succeed in America is by libeling the right. Only 20 percent of Americans label themselves liberal, let alone left. How, then, do Leftists get elected? And why don’t more Americans call themselves conservative when, in fact, so many share conservatives’ values? The answer to both questions is that through its dominance of the news media, entertainment media and educational institutions, the left has been able to successfully demonize the right for at least half a century. The left rarely convinces Americans to adopt its views. What it does is create a fear of the right that influences many Americans to align themselves with the left.” ~ Here: Dennis Prager Libeling the Right: The Key to the Left’s Success http://townhall.com/columnists/dennisprager/2011/01/18/libeling_the_right_the_key_to_the_lefts_success/page/full/

Obama Says Tea Party Is Racist in New Book
[Doesn’t have the guts to say it to our faces]
[] AP
...But Obama, in his most candid moments, acknowledged that race was still a problem. In May 2010, he told guests at a private White House dinner that race was probably a key component in the rising opposition to his presidency from conservatives, especially right-wing activists in the anti-incumbent “Tea Party” movement that was then surging across the country. Many middle-class and working-class whites felt aggrieved and resentful that the federal government was helping other groups, including bankers, automakers, irresponsible people who had defaulted on their mortgages, and the poor, but wasn’t helping them nearly enough, he said.
A guest suggested that when Tea Party activists said they wanted to “take back” their country, their real motivation was to stir up anger and anxiety at having a black president, and Obama didn’t dispute the idea. He agreed that there was a “subterranean agenda” in the anti-Obama movement-a racially biased one-that was unfortunate. But he sadly conceded that there was little he could do about it.

Does this fellow still have a job?
If so, why?
Check out the comments to this story at the NYT web site. They tell a lot about the NYT’s readers.
Yeah, right, O'Keefe forced Schiller and Liley, at the point of a salad fork no less, to say insipid, bigoted, nonsensical BS!
Bwaaaaaahahahahahahahahahaaaaaa!!! Go NYTs!
What is the latest on Jimmy O’Keefe. I thought he still might be in jail after the ACORN incident. Keep on truckin’ Jimmy & Co. You’re the best thing since sliced bread (hey there are a lot of things better than sliced bread).
Rush is covering it right now; hour 3 of his show. At length.
mischief-maker = truth seeker
It’s a small, small world !!!!!
“September 3, 2009, Washington, D.C. Ronald J. Schiller , currently Vice President for Alumni Relations and Development for University of Chicago, will become NPRs top fundraiser later this month...”
I didn’t notice the NYT criticizing the guy who pranked Scott Walker. And there was plenty to criticize.
Most of the comments are great! Such as;
“So by “biased coverage,” conservatives mean “unwilling to participate in spreading a billionaire-financed, ideologically-fabricated right-wing pseudo-reality?” Is any corner of our society safe from this toxin anymore? When will conservative voters realize they are being taken advantage of? It took Germans 12 years and the destruction of their country to come to their senses.”
And;
“Oh, come one, Diane. Is Schiller the only one who can tell the truth? The Republican Party is being taken over by red-neck white trash America, at least those smart enough to change radio stations to the right wing racist bile they listen to on commercial AM radio.
There is nothing Schiller said that comes close to the racist bile spewed forth on commercial talk radio.”
“So we’re to fault the man because he’s honest about his opinion? I think the tea party folk are undereducated racists, too.”
