Don’t think that was the topic of the article. But you could contact the fish and game commission for your location. They normally do what the majority wants.
I am sympathetic to your logic here—these were victimless crimes and my gosh, we are overrun with deer, not to mention hunting is falling off. Course that leaves more for you and me. Every man is a hunter/fisher by nature.

Inbred white trash that exists mainly on burglary and poaching, and now in it’s fourth generation of welfare dependency, what they still call ‘relief’.
All of the worst of what Appalachia has to offer. Job security for the members of the state constabulary and local judicial system.
Around here you wouldn’t want to brag about poaching to any legitimate hunters. Its really kind of pointless when there are several seasons when multiple deer can be taken.
It’s a tough call.

Bs, we the people remove the ability for crimals to own firearms everyday. And it has been found constitutional. We even remove the right for them to be free, guess that is a concept beyond your grasp. And in those cases where we remove their life they don’t own firearms any more either.
Why don’t they just move deer hunting season to the end of football season?
We had a game warden murdered in PA just a few months ago. He caught a guy spotlighting (hunting at night). The guy was a convicted felon who had served time and was still on parole. The bastard killed the warden rather than be arrested again and sent back to prison. The warden left a wife and a couple of kids as I recall.
It can be dangerous out in those woods at times.
So do you oppose the death penalty as well?

I think the dear departed congress-critter was casting his net a bit wider than this particular species.
These are the types of stinking bums that have in recent months in these parts shot people’s pet llamas, livestock, even a little girl’s pony.
They will steal your quad and burn down your barn. Saturday night is for driving around throwing bricks through the windshields of oncoming cars. They molest their kids and marry their first cousins. They are the most ignorant of rural inhabitants.
They used to provide me and my colleagues with endless opportunites for learning and entertainment in the field of mountain criminology. They are nothing to defend or romanticize no matter how passionately you wish the Game Commission would up the bag limit on white tails or how much you loathe intrusions into the Second Amendment. They are in fact the among the best arguments gun grabbers have for taking away our rights.
They are an inveterate, hereditary criminal class and a pox on every decent, hard working person who lives out where there are no streetlights.
