A lesbian Army captain sent home from Afghanistan after she was accused of an 'inappropriate relationship' with a sergeant was behaving like a 'love struck teenager' and undermining operations, a tribunal heard today.
Karen Tait, 29, who is claiming sexual discrimination against the Ministry of Defence and her commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Deborah Poneskis, upset the chain of command with her 'sly and underhand' behaviour, the employment tribunal in central London heard.

Yes it’s only a matter of time before we see cases like this in the US military. There are rules against fraternization but usually when “PC thought” and the law collide, the law usually loses.

Fraternization is a violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). It falls under a subparagraph of Article 134, and is defined by the Manual For Courts-martial (MCM).
If an US military officer and US military enlistee are caught in in an ‘uncompromising position’ regardless of sexual orientation, could the officer be severely reprimanded??

When your entire existence is based solely over whom you are currently having sex with, then you are an emotionally shallow person who should be as far away from the military as possible.
Personally, I think that saying that she’s too fat for service would have worked just as well. Don’t they any fitness standards?

This should be interesting when we have OPENLY GAY perverts in our military. They will be touchy and destroy cohesion. If anything goes on that they don’t like, they will BLAME IT ON THEIR BEING GAY and the ACCUSER “discriminating” against them and trying to get rid of them. This is going to be a mess.
Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn’t Pfc Manning (wikileaks) a disgruntled gay serviceman? This seems to be more of a security threat than they thought...
