The redness is a great sign! I’m going through the same therapy myself ... my situation is nowhere near as severe as Jim’s.
My wound was bleeding a lot yesterday. They told me that was a very good sign.

Good going Jim. I have an open minor wound on my diabetic leg. Perhaps you can get your wound doctor in touch with me. My Primary Care says it might never heal. It has never been in the shape of yours, on the other hand my other leg was amputated.
