Jim went to the VA hospital this afternoon for his scheduled checkup.
They admitted him. His remaining leg is not looking good. Three surgeons will confer tomorrow morning
on whether and when his right leg will be amputated.
When I talked to him this afternoon, he consented to me asking for prayers regarding this latest health issue.

I saw Jim last week and talked to him today so I want to add a couple of lines to his post. :)
They are still using the honey treatment and there is some red spots at the bottom of the wound. If I understand this correctly, they are a sign of new tissue.
It is hoped that the nitroglycerin treatments will open up the constricted blood vessels to his lower leg. Increased blood supply will help with healing.
Please join me in praying that Jim will become a famous test case.
