He served one term as governor, from 1988 to 1992, switching from the Democratic Party to the GOP while running for re-election.

No thanks.

We need to start a pool...who thinks the field will top 10 candidates?

It will, in all likelihood, top 10.

Not long ago, the list of wannabes was closer to 18.

Many will drop out early because they won’t get enough donations to make a run viable.

Elite’s strategy: litter the 2012 Presidential candidate filed with low-grade reruns and has-beens to make favored RINOs seem like ‘STARS’!

Nothing new here! IMHO

Is this a Carnival Float theme joke? Did someone get a reporter drunk at a Mardi Gras Party? Roemer for president of what? He couldn't get elected parish president in the smallest parish in Louisiana.

Completely agree, this is really weird, a nobody from nowhere who has done nothing recently (Didn't do much when governor years ago) decides to run for president????
If anything I think his family should be keeping a close eye on him........Just saying.

Just think about all of them having a 3 minute say in a debate. That could last past an election.

“Who is Roemer ?”

Former MBA Governor of Louisiana who wears Cowboy boots. Probably couldn’t ride a horse if he could identify one. If he’s an example of an MBA it’s a worthless degree.

As governor of Louisiana, Roemer vetoed a pro-life bill (after having run as pro-life) and got over-ridden by his own Democrat legislature.

Not only did he lose re-election, but he came in behind David Duke, a formaer KKK Grand Wizard (or whatever) and founder of the NAAWP. We don’t need an excuse to bring him into ANYTHING.

Roemer is a duplicitous, loser weasel.
