After releasing my Top 5 GOP frontrunners list for March, many Ron Paul supporters were very unhappy not seeing him in the top five. They left tons of comments complaining that I didnt include him and saying he is the only true hope for 2012. As most of my regular readers know, I do not like Ron Paul, and I support Sarah Palin for President. So, to not seem biased, I wanted to tell you why I dont like Ron Paul. However, not to leave you in the cold, in terms of 2012, if he were the Republican Nominee, I would support him.
First off, many Republicans are strongly pro-war, and Ron Paul is not just anti-war, but he has adopted some of the more obnoxious and inflammatory rhetoric from the Left about the war that is extremely grating. Hell, according to Paul, Iraq is a war for oil and empire, engineered by neocons, and in Pauls book, we deserved to be attacked on 9/11. That is not Conservative at all, and quite frankly disgusting. I do not want the President of the United States with that mindset. Additionally, Pauls inconsiderate, we must leave immediately, regardless of the consequences, position on Iraq comes across as poorly thought out. Even though Paul is opposed to the war, the disengaging of the United States from the war immediately and without consequences is very thoughtless. Its something you might hear from a Liberal college student at an anti-war rally. Even President Obama and Secretary Clinton, all whom have spent months trying to convince America that theyre the most anti-war of all, have said we may be in Iraq for years to come, though Obama has set a date for withdraw.
Secondly, Paul wants to get rid of the CIA...............

It’s their code word for “Jew !” Interestingly, the PaleoLoons utilize that same slur with their leftist brethren.
Looking at the communists gaining power, that's exactly what Germans thought as they voted for Hitler.
Even as you are jumping out of the fire you still have to watch were you land: the second fire may be even hotter.
Ron Paul votes to homosexualize the US Military
Ron Paul: Ground Zero Mosque Opponents are Islamophobes.
Where are all of my supporters? I know they're online ... somewhere in the ether.
Why would I do that? I Googled Ron Paul Cursing Israel, which is what you posted, and found no support for your claim.
>>>Ron Paul is actually less irritating than his followers, and that’s not necessarily a compliment to Paul.
Both are nuttier than squirrel poop.
Not a whole lot of people worshipping God over there. And anyway, the old covenant has been replaced with the coming of Jesus Christ. Israel isn't the key any more.
Ron Paul is a bump in the road for whichever Republican candidate goes on to win the nomination.
I didn’t think you could back up your libel, and I was right.
Because he’s an isolationist, and ostriches get kicked in the behind.
Especially now. If we don’t get involved, others will. And we won’t care for the results.
But lately it seems like everybody’s a Paulite. Me, I don’t want us to become France.
Leftist peaceniks and Paulites are on the same page, and those of us who stand with them are soon going to have a heap of Crow a la Chamberlain to choke down.
Whatever and wherever it is, Paul wants us to stay out of it until it gets worse. Two world wars notwithstanding.
Thank you. Let’s hope our friend knows he can click on this and find out about Ron Paul’s attitude and attacks on Israel.
I don’t know. After seeing what Bush did to the budget and debt, Ron Paul sounds pretty good.
Please add Romney to my post above as to candidates who we conservatives don’t want running against Obama. Romney offends the Republican base as he flip flops.
If that is your only support for Paul, he is in big trouble.
Attention FR, a n00b feels that we are all foaming at the mouth 'right-wingers'
A quick primer ...
Who also feels we are in need of primer from a REAL republican (don't you mean REAL liberaltarian RR2011?)
9/11 happened ... because of our consistent foreign occupation ....
Oh my, the FAIL is strong in this one ...
I dont support Ron Paul, he's too extreme and too idealistic in my view. Im just offering a counterpoint to some of the posts in this thread.
If you don't support him, then why waste time supporting him. We really don't need a lukewarm recitation of reasons why someone *might* support him, we can think of those ourselves. They have probably also been listed here endlessly on the the most respected CONSERVATIVE (not libertarian) website on the net. You are just wasting time and bandwidth with your little lecture. It would be much better to actually support something or someone you actually suppport instead of simply giving us tepid "think" pieces. OK? A n00b should learn this.
Dang! We've been discovered!
