Washington School Expels Students Involved in Bathroom Fight Club

Nearly two dozen students from a Washington middle school have been expelled for participating in a bathroom fight club, according to Q13Fox.com.

The students from Steward Middle School in Tacoma were kicked out of school Monday after cell phone video of the fights emerged.

The video showed several middle school students fighting in the school's bathroom.

"I was horrified. I kept expecting one of them to go into a wall. Those bathrooms are very unforgiving on a 12-year-old boy's body," an aunt whose nephew was part of this fight club told the website.

9 sixth-graders expelled over school fight club (TNT)

It apparently was fighting, not smoking, in the boys room that was one the minds of some sixth-graders at Stewart Middle School in Tacoma.

Nine sixth-graders have been expelled after school officials learned of a “fight club” at Stewart, The News Tribune reports.

The boys would apparently meet after classes in a school restroom or at home to set up fights.

School administrators were able to identify the fights after KCPQ ran a story on the fights on Sunday. It shows video of a fight taken from a boy’s phone.

She should've been horrified at the abject failure of her brother or sister in raising that child. This remark is an explanation of the phenomenon: she is worried about the consequences of the fighting, not its causes.

I got into it with some kid in the boys room in 7th grade. We punched ourselves into exhaustion.

Principle came in, asked who started it. Everyone hung their head and said nothing.

We BOTH got five. Board of Education thing you know. We got 3 days, and worst of all, he called our pops.

Big time trouble.

We did the deed, we paid the price. We grew up really fast and got an education that these kids today don’t know.

We were best friends for years.

My kid caught his bully alone in the bathroom at school during 5th grade and beat the tar out of the kid.

Think it was about 7 years back, in TN or KY, a simple bathroom fight, kid got knocked down hit his head on the sink. Dead before he hit the floor.

These idiots want to knock each other around, fine. Do it where the taxpayers aren’t on the hook for wrongful death if the idiots kill themselves.

Anecdote. A HS football team had their best year in a long time this year. Some theorized that their ‘fight club’ had toughened 'em up quite a bit - both mentally and physically. They would get together over the summer, and just pair up and go at it for a bit. As I understand it...
