One of the things if I recall that was most hated by blacks in the fight for civil rights was being intimidated when trying to go vote. For Holder to say it’s no big deal when the Panthers do it is offensive.
My Irish background also bristles at Holder’s statement given how they and other white ethnic groups were treated. Holder is implying that blacks are a special class who’ve had the worst of what history has dished out.
There are things worse than slavery and separate but equal Mr. Holder, such as genocide and starvation, which many white ethnic groups experienced in Europe to make them flee here. Don’t pretend that the kind of tactics used by the Panthers are OK because the target was whites. There are no special classes of people in this country.
If you are in federal office, we’re all supposed to be your people.

Well, ya’ know, I feel some of the actions of the KKK and LE back in the day who had deep sympathies for the KKK and other racists demeaned my people. It didn’t stop us from taking steps to prevent those people so inclined to from abusing Attorney Holder’s people.
I would expect someone who has the AG position to prevent anyone who makes a living from demeaning anyone else from any further malicious behavior.
