Mike Huckabee seemed to suggest that Barack Obama grew up in Kenya, even though he indicated that the president’s birth certificate is real.

In an interview with The Steve Malzberg Show on Monday, Huckabee talked about Obama’s “having grown up in Kenya.”
Huckabee’s comment came in response the host asserting that Obama spent “millions of dollars in courts all over this country to defend against having to present a birth certificate.”
“One thing that I do know is his having grown up in Kenya, his view of the Brits, for example, very different than the average American,” Huckabee said in response.
“If you think about it, his perspective as growing up in Kenya with a Kenyan father and grandfather, their view of the Mau Mau Revolution in Kenya is very different than ours because he probably grew up hearing that the British were a bunch of imperialists who persecuted his grandfather,” Huckabee added.
In fact, Obama grew up in Hawaii and Indonesia.

Oh good GOD shut up already Huck. This is one of those times when I think the GOP are making birthers look stupid by being ignorant on purpose. Sheesh.
He grew up in Indonesia and Hawaii...but his formative years, were in Indonesia. Islam. His mentor, Communist.

I can’t see any much harm in kicking up some dust about his Kenyan upbringing. It has about as much validity as the official story, after all.
Let the people who have some skin in the game prove that he wasn’t brought up in Kenya. Hmm, a long form birth record and some school records, independently verifiable by members of the public, would suffice.

you hit the nail right on the head. he wants the stupid comment to be part of Odumbo’s agenda. It seems lets destroy the Republican party and continue to be ignorant idiots that they are. The only idiot is Mike Huckabee. maybe FoxNews needs to reconsider his contract. might have problems with the make-up, and the hair spray affecting the brain cells. The brain cells are being eliminated making room for the old saying - “Politicians have crap for brains.”
I hope Huckabuck stays out of it this time around. I like the guy’s show on TV but seriously folks does anybody really want the guy for President? Lets just elect one person who is really qualified in our lifetime.
People like this Huckabilly do the movement to get Obama’s records opened up, a severe disservice.
If he doesn’t have a clue as to Obama’s early days, he should shut up. It gives people license to trash everyone who has a valid cause to desire to see Obama’s records.
I don’t know many people who dispute Obama’s early days in Hawaii. They just aren’t convinced he was born there. They are not kooks for asking to see a paper trail, and not just a concocted version.
When people start making things up, it makes everyone who has a valid question, look kooky.

For the record, I do believe Obama’s days in Asian schools fed him a lot of negativity about the U. S. If you look at that time frame just years after the end of the Vietnam War, the U. S. wasn’t looked on too favorably in that region.

I don't think the birth certificate is really the central issue here.
But I don't think I've ever heard anyone say that Obama "grew up in Kenya".

It was a mistake by Huckabee. I heard the interview yesterday. This is a ridiculous story by politico.

While I think Huckabee has zero chance of being President ( the reason democrats like him), He might have a good point, has anyone seen a picture of obama before five years old in Hawaii?
