There should be laws against this. These folks are duty bound by their oath.

Those 14 senators are technically residents of another state, making them no longer eligible to be state representatives.
Why not require “representatives” to obtain permits to reside out of state when legislatures are in session?

“Failure to return to work and cast their votes will lead to more painful and aggressive spending cuts in the very near future,” the statement said.”
NOT a threat. Just a simple statement of fact. Cool. Well done Gov. Walker.

$165 million is coffee money to the unions and the Obama front groups like Organizing for America when the fight is about much more than Wisconsin. The left intends to stop the spread of any attempt to reign in public employee collective bargaining rights or benefits in other states. If Wisconsin suffers, let it be a lesson to the state GOP. We really have to learn to fight these domestic terrorists.

I've heard that if a state declares bankruptcy all it's union deals are null and void (or something to that effect). JUST DO IT.

I actually hope the Dems stay out..The bond restructuring is a financial matter, and as such requires a legislative quorum..which means they need ONE Dem in the Senate. And of course, while the Dem is sitting in the Senate, they can move thebill to curtail collective bargaining and increase the pension and medical payments for state employees.
But by refinancing this debt, Walker is also kicking the can down the road in order to save jobs..Why...the state government is too big..Lay them off

Ironically, the last people who care about another $165 million cost to taxpayers is the parasite class, and, of course, the parasite class is the Democrat party “base”. I don’t think this warning will get the elected rats back to their jobs. What do they or their voters care?

Can WI get some more state senators if the AWOL Democrats, um, EXPIRE in office?

I agree, either FIRE THEM ALL for absenteeism, OR, send the $165 million to the Senators themselves (personally liable for malfeasnce and to reimburse the Taxpayers).
Swear out arrest warrants if the Subpoenas to their offices go unanswered for their Court Appearances.

Pass a general "Right to Work" law in Wisconsin. Since it would not be an appropriations bill, it could be passed with the quorum the Republicans already have.
While you're at it, pass a "Constitutional Carry" CCW bill.

This is what a Baltimore website has to say: There are some serious discussions going on the comments. Here are a couple of the not so nice comments. I can only imagine what Mike Turbin meant when he said ‘there’s hate in their eyes’.

Republicans & Fox news should be punched in the face. Murdoch & his anti labor bunch @ Fox should also be kicked in the nuts also.

...... You are just an ignorant under educated hopeless peasant who will allways be at the bottom because, you insist on dragging everyone else down to where you are rather than try to boost everyone where you want to be. You know very well that if you could negotiate you own wages and benefits that you would and to a tune of great portions. Be real and, stop hating!
