but they think that they should stand with the thugs that are effing up this country?

Well ---- Yeah! The cop union sweetheart bennies and retirement are also on the line. They actually believe that abandoning their special status as the protectors of the rule of law is optional if their special status is threatened.

Only one way to conclusively demonstrate that they don't have a special status.

Not now. Not ever!

Simple...bring in a detachment of non-English speaking Canadian troops...

Canada, U.S. agree to use each other’s troops in civil emergencies

By Ottawa Citizen ^ | February 22, 2008

Canada and the U.S. signed an agreement that paves the way for either nation to send troops across each other’s borders during an emergency. Some question why the Harper government has kept silent on the deal.

Neither the Canadian government nor the Canadian Forces announced the new agreement, signed Feb. 14 in Texas.

The U.S. Northern Command publicized the agreement outlining how its top officer, Gen. Gene Renuart, and Canadian Lt.-Gen. Marc Dumais, head of Canada Command, signed the plan, which allows the military from one nation to support the armed forces of the other nation during a civil emergency.

The new agreement has been greeted with suspicion by the left wing in Canada and the right wing in the U.S.

Better yet....some of those "soon to be available" mercenaries from Libya.

And to keep 0bambi happy...some of those machete wielding youts form Cousin Odinga's mob...they can give the protesters a free Nigerian Necklace on their way out.

what does it tell the nation, the state of WI, and the locals? "Will no one speak for us?"

Are you so helpless that you can't speak for yourself?
Police departments are empowered by their employers to enforce the law; the people don't abandon the right of self defense. They can reclaim the job when the hired help fails to perform.

As I said...emotional and totally specious arguements.

Only if you are mentally handicapped. Even if you can spell specious, but fail the more elementary "arguments."

If you have no facts, please go watch the Oscars or some other "useful" endeavor.

It's argument, dummy.
Learn how to spell, will ya?

Each and every noun or title is preceeded by a derotatory or emotional adjective.

Does the taxpayer also pay the fourth grader who is proofreading your professional state work?

Damn straight! I was ready to concede and allow the police their full-out union bennies, but after this BS, FDR has proven his point.

...the democrat senators who fled have been threatened by the union if they return. calls saying they know where their children and grandchildren live and such.

I can easily believe that. I think the Dems have been playing with fire here. Obama and his goons have a much more ruthless agenda than the average WI state Dem rep, and some of them are probably realizing that right about now and not sure what to do.

Has anybody confirmed the story about the cops, or was it simply some leftist’s Facebook ravings?

Listen Live

Conservative Charlie Sykes has another week of great radio discussing the inside information on the socialist protestors at the Madison state building.

Fox News Channel and the conservative radio talk show hosts need to stop covering this thing in Wisconsin. The protesters are full-time rabble and the issue is only mildly significant in a nation that is $14 trillion in debt. If someone would advocate shutting down the worthless public schools altogether we might get somewhere.

(Gas is soaring toward and beyond $4 a gallon. Can anyone imagine a tired protest in a state over pensions galvanizing the media if there were a Republican president and $4 gas??)
