Protesters in Madison not budging
Fox News ^ | 2/27/11

Posted on 02/27/2011 2:37:31 PM PST by Jean S

The protesters agreed to leave peacefully so the capitol building could be cleaned. Later, they organized some seminars on "passive resistance". Now they're pouring in the building and refusing to leave unless they're handcuffed.

Watch live on Fox.

Are there any links to hard news stories that indicate the cops are joining the protesters?

Thanks.

I haven’t seen any. FNC is reporting that the protesters are leaving so it must not be true.

I wouldn't be suprised if they shut-down the country.

If these union thugs get between me and my destination, I will use all the necessary force I need to get through them. Not around them, through them. If it requires deadly force, then that is what will happen. This sh*t needs to end now!

Not that I can find. In fact, I can’t find anything to substantiate ANY of the nonsense being perpetuated on this link, including on Fox itself.

[If that’s true, a state of open insurrection exists in the city of Madison.]

Cops resisting a direct order would be subject to getting canned posthaste. Let’s see them find another cushy job if they pull that crap.

Thanks. I remember hearing a report on Friday that the head of the WI Police Union was encouraging it’s members to not do their jobs.

FWIW: That’s not novel.

The buddy whom got clobbered over the head, his wife said he will get 7 stitches. She said there is too many conflicting reports, when the Dane County Sheriffs Department arrived than the people started to leave. a sheriffs deputy has told her they will continue to empty the floors of people encouraging to leave of their own accord. but if any of them move outside of the areas they have set for the protestors to stay. Many of the signs are coming down and there is trash piling up. he feels my buddy a fellow pastor (his) was down there just wanting to let people know what was going on was just a victim of a disgruntled teacher from Madison. he believes there will be some arrests made. But the governor knows that CNN, NBC, CBS and ABC are just waiting in the wings for the first arrests to be made and than the people will show off. The media on the inside is limited. My buddy is going home to nurse a sore head and a headache.

Just what I saw earlier in the thread. I suppose we should wait until a "respectable" (if there is such a thing) news source states it as fact and someone provides a link. I'm just so PO'ed at these thugs that if I were there, I'd be busting heads right now.

Maybe a modern day Bull Conner is needed with some fire hoses. Not to blast the protesters with...to clean the floors....if the protesters get in the way......

"Mike Tobin of Fox News reports he was hit in the arm twice earlier today. He said that to call it assault and battery would be stretching it"

Maybe it would be "stretching it" to him but not to my "lawyer".

[nor to MD law, in general]

He's a PTSD support dog and his top harness patch plainly states "WARNING: DOG IS TRAINED TO PROTECT HANDLER".

He can go anywhere I go and he's got no sense of humor about anybody "hitting mom", however "lightly".

FOX should issue all their reporters dogs.

I know *I* wouldn't step into that violent "liberal" mob without him.

I still say bring in the dogs and run out the rats.

[speaking of rats...where is Dear Leader in all of this? Is he even half-ass attempting to 'control' his sycophants or does he support their right to anarchy?]

Same here. I’ve been posting a lot of stuff to my Facebook page but have always made sure I had a link to a legitimate news story.

The country is unraveling.

We still suffer from the same 1960’s juvenile petulance when the powers that be did not immediately fall in line as protesters demanded.

Okay Governor Walker, let the firings begin. Go on television and state that “due to the inaction of the Democrat Senators more debt service costs are being incurred. Consequently, 1,000 people will lose their jobs tomorrow. 1,000 public sector union jobs each day until the Senators return. “

Do you think that would get their attention? 1,000 members each day not paying their dues?
