The Rotunda continues to fill up as the 4pm deadline approaches. The Ustream video showed an almost empty Rotunda 35 minutes ago. Now the Rotunda is packed.
Well, I don’t know about Fitzgerald’s wife...
But there is a Rachel SHULTZ who is a school administrator in Richland Center, small town where Dale Shultz is from; Dale’s wife is named Rachel...I think there is a real conflict of interest here!

Yes, I heard he was thinking about it...he wants a 2-year sunset :( That won’t help the State long-term. Just like the extension of Bush tax rates...in 2 years will be back at this place again.
I think that it is outrageous that his wife is involved in school district business dealings...would it surprise you if she was supportive of the teacher’s unions? Wonder how many aministrators are former teachers, so they vote in these comfortable contracts....would not surprise me if most didn’t start out in classroom.
“BTW, How did they get in”
There is the question of the year. How in the heck did they get in in the first place? They should have been cleared out of there last week. The protest should be in front of the Capital not inside.
Yup, Schultz was the weak link in the Senate. We still don't know for sure he flipped, but it wouldn't be surprising. The question is will the remaining 18 hold.
The cops and fireman support the union thugs. Call in the WI National Guard.
The union mob is claiming the police are on their side and supporting them. If the police are not following orders, then this might in fact be true.
Apparently the police are letting them stay in the capitol tonight, so I dunno. My understanding is the law required the police to force them out so the place could be cleaned, and this is not happening. They are in the capitol right now cheering a Republican defection and seem happy as clams, so there will be no fumigating the place tonight and that strikes me as a violation of the law.
Like I said, I think the police are trying to get as many to leave calmly as they can. They don’t want violence. I think this is going to backfire on the protesters. They want special privileges that non-unionized and private union taxpayers don’t have and can’t affort! Nnw they are acting above the law. They are like poor sports. They don’t like the game, so they throw the board on the floor and try to change the rules. But the protesters are taking their lead from the Fleabag 14 who are hiding in Illinois costing the taxpayers money and shirking their responsibilities. How many days has it been? They are waiting to see if more senators will flip. I hope they stand strong.
>>>>So those in capitol stay, tho I read that no mattresses and no food deliveries were allowed todaynews Madison will report at 9. Seems prevailing attitude is that avoiding violence is in everyones best interest. I agree & dont want this to turn ugly.<<<<
Checkmate. Walker/Wisconsin lose.
The teachers will leave tonight because vacation's over. They've been exposed as warmed-over hippies. The remaining protesters are anarchists and paid professionals.
Walker's going to have to bring in the guard if they don't clear out tomorrow.

I don’t know why you say that. I see no signs that Walker will cave. He is gonna do the budget on Tuesday and the pink slips will start flowing. Walker is the CEO of the State. He is weighing all the options and he does not come off as a coward. He seems to be attempting to keep the rhetoric even and low-key. He seems to not want to appear anti-union and doesn’t want violence. All weekend they have been attempting to ratchet down the access of the protesters. Hard for anyone to armchair quarterback this, especially me, but I spent 10 years in Wisco, live just south of cheddar curtain now and follow their politics—I am gonna trust that Walker knows what he is doing. I am rooting and praying for him. I don’t think Walker is gonna cave, tho am concerned about a couple RINOs.
LoL. I think a bit of both!
“NO TRESPASSING! VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED!”?
No disrespect, but I say that because you don’t say you are going to do something (clean them out of the state house) and then back down at the last minute. Hell, that’s parenting 101. And these liberal idiots are spoiled children and Walker is the adult. In my opinion, he caved. He blinked.
In Madison, LoL. Don’t hold your breath.
They want a fight.
The cause is just an excuse.
I'd be inclined to let this worst element stay, great negative advertising for the Dems.
I agree. These goons are itching for a confrontation for AyeBC/SeeBS/NyetBC to play on a full rotation.
The private taxpayers are still working throughout this so-called shutdown. Let the freeloaders bleed themselves out of their passion. Slow playing this is the key, IMO. Let the media get bored with it, cause no conflict at the direction of Walker, and it becomes obvious who provides essential services.
