WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama says Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi must leave the country now.
Obama made the comments to German Chancellor Angela Merkel in a private telephone conversation Saturday as they discussed the violence in Libya. The White House says Obama told Merkel that when a leader’s only means of holding power is to use violence against his people, then he has lost the legitimacy to rule and needs to do what’s right for his country by “leaving now.”
The comments mark the first time that Obama has called on Gadhafi to step down.

When Obama finally does the right thing, as in calling on Quadafi to leave, I think he should be supported.
But he didn’t actually say these things to Qua-daffy, right? Pathetic.
I suppose Obama is going to go over there and tell him that in person?
Gadhafi would eat him live. It would take 30 seconds and we’d have another Holiday in the US.

Odumbo is trying to tell Qaddaffi to leave. Okay Odumbo what are going to do about the $400,000.00 of taxpayers that you gave to Qaddaffi’s daughter and son for the Gaza flotilla. Okay Odumbo come on fess up how much did you give to Mubarak in Egypt, how about Abbas in Palestine, how much to Ahmadinejad in Iran. what about Yemen, Somali, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. There seems to be a pattern here
Okay lets look at the Shia Muslim religion based primarily in Iran (90% and Iraq and snaller amounts throughout all the arab countries) Iran has established a network of organizations through Ahmadinejad: in the following countries Bahrain, Kuwait, saudi arabia, Pakistan and Yemen and established contact with certain Sunni fundamentalist gropups in Saudi arabia, Turkey, Egypt, algeria and Morocco..
In the madrassa muslim schooling of boys there are two concepts that they are taught at an early age
1. Entezar - the capacity to patiently wait for the Imam return.
2. taajil, the actions needed to hasten the return of the of the Imam.
The Imam (Shia’s messiah) (Christianity’s anti-christ), return will coincide with an pitched battle between forces of evil and righeousness with evil ultimately routed.
Shia view the West as evil. So Shia muslims desire to bog down the US and the west in a long drawn out affair that exhausts them financially. It has a goal the surrender to Islam, and with this the Imam returns.
The request of Odumbo is just that an empty request, it has no meaning there is no heart in it. It is his response to cater to his base. This is no different the any response he has given to Americans that are not on the fringe. Gays and Lesbians, socialists, communists, Unions they all are social minorities nothing less he is only after the fruits, nuts and flakes.
He is basically telling Qaddaffi stay the course, I want to see your country to go into chaos, because this will signal the rest of the countries to continue on in the fight to destroy America from outside as Odumbo strives to destroy america from the inside.
Unfortunately we have a complicit democratic Party that will basically kiss Odumbos backside to achieve his legacy. The Downfall of america.
Woooo. Gadhafi is really frightened now.

I think Obama needs to step down, and leave the country.
