They heard about campus uprisings, watched news footage of the ‘68 Democratic Convention, possibly participated in them, and saw endless movies romanticizing the radical 60s. They want to be part of the scene. You know, the happening, man.
As a private organization I would think they have the right to call the police and have them removed. And since the police unions are exempt from the legislation being considered then they should have no sympathy for the trespassers.
Sounds like breaking and entering to me.

Frankly, it looks to me like they need to get the national guard out to remove people from the capital building interior, and protect various other locations.
The union people have effectively shut down the Wisconsin government. Since when do we tolerate that type of activity?
If Conservatives marched on Washington, D. C. and did half what these folks in Wisconsin have done, they’d be rotting in jail by now.

In the Wisconsin State Journal the UW Madison College Teacher Assistants Union is being forced out of the capitol as of Saturday. No more sleeping overnight in the Capitol Rotundas office and rooms. The hallways will remain open. The GOP is starting to close off the capitol building. Nothing breaking in the Wisconsin Sate Journal. let me check if the capitol Police or the dane County Sheriff or Madison Police have jurisdiction in the development of the GOP Offices being invaded by protestors. ( This would people outside of Wisconsin - sounds like a teamsters Moduds operandi0.
