I got this email from my liberal friend of mine. Before I respond I present it to my fellow Freepers for opinions on how best to respond:
Nelda Elder posted this on the Washington Post's Facebook page. She's from Kansas, and looks to be in her mid to late 50's. She uses the term "teabagger". But do remember that NOT everyone knows this can also mean a sexual act; it's not exactly a common one. I didn't know it; I'm betting she doesn't either. It's just easier to say "Teabagger" than "TeaPartier" or whatever description they're using now:
"The Teabagger gets up at 6:00am to prepare his morning coffee.
He fills his pot full of good clean drinking water because some liberal fought for minimum water quality standards.
He takes his daily medication with his first swallow of coffee. His medications are safe to take because some liberal fought to insure their safety and work as advertised. All but $10.00 of his medications are paid for by his employers medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid medical insurance, now The Teabagger gets it too.
He prepares his morning breakfast, bacon and eggs this day. The Teabagger's bacon is safe to eat because some liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry.
The Teabagger takes his morning shower reaching for his shampoo; his bottle is properly labeled with every ingredient and the amount of its contents because some liberal fought for his right to know what he was putting on his body and how much it contained.
The Teabagger dresses, walks outside and takes a deep breath. The air he breathes is clean because some tree-hugging liberal fought for laws to stop industries from polluting our air.
The Teabagger begins his work day; he has a good job with excellent pay, medicals benefits, retirement, paid holidays and vacation because some liberal union members fought and died for these working standards. The Teabagger's employer pays these standards because The Teabagger's employer doesn't want his employees to call the union.
If The Teabagger is hurt on the job or becomes unemployed he'll get a worker compensation or unemployment check because some liberal didn't think he should lose his home because of his temporary misfortune.
It's noon time, The Teabagger needs to make a Bank Deposit so he can pay some bills. The Teabagger's deposit is federally insured by the FSLIC because some liberal wanted to protect The Teabagger's money from unscrupulous bankers who ruined the banking system before the depression.
The Teabagger has to pay his Fannie Mae underwritten Mortgage and his below market federal student loan because some stupid liberal decided that The Teabagger and the government would be better off if he was educated and earned more money over his lifetime.
The Teabagger is home from work, he plans to visit his father this evening at his farm home in the country. He gets in his car for the drive to dad's; his car is among the safest in the world because some liberal fought for car safety standards.
He arrives at his boyhood home. He was the third generation to live in the house financed by Farmers Home Administration because bankers didn't want to make rural loans. The house didn't have electric until some big government liberal stuck his nose where it didn't belong and demanded rural electrification. (Those rural Republicans would still be sitting in the dark)
He is happy to see his dad who is now retired. His dad lives on Social Security and his union pension because some liberal made sure he could take care of himself so The Teabagger wouldn't have to.
After his visit with dad he gets back in his car for the ride home. He turns on a radio talk show, the host keeps saying that liberals are bad and conservatives are good (He doesn't tell The Teabagger that his beloved Republicans have fought against every protection and benefit The Teabagger enjoys throughout his day).
The Teabagger agrees, "We don't need those big government liberals ruining our lives."

And if they are going to use a slur like teabagger then you are in your right to use the term faggot to describe liberals.

Yeah, right - the belief is that conservatives want to drink dirty water and breath filthy air. It’s crap. Here’s what liberals gave us - food police - welfare dependency - bad schools - broken families and neighborhoods. And a country that has signs all over inner city neighborhoods advertising to get YOU your Social Security Disability. Yep, they’re bankrupting the country... and have been for decades.
The silly liberal wakes up and decides to forward a chain email that repeatedly insults her friend with a term that means a perverse homesexual act and is filled with lies. Somehow that makes her feel superior.
How about that?
Oh - and your friend is a liberal - trust me - she knows what a ‘teabagger’ is and is expressing her hate for all conservatives - including you.

Liberals are lazy. Don’t be lazy. Hold her to each point, one by one, and destroy her email and her pseudo-knowledge.
Every one of those events wold happen w/o the gummit and is why we are in the mess we are in. All of those benefits are paid for by private industry.

If a black man or Hispanic are conservative, they see themselves as independently successful. Their liberal counterparts see themselves as victims in need of government protection.
If a conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation. A liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.
If a conservative doesn’t like a talk show host, he switches channels. Liberals demand that those they don’t like be shut down.
If a conservative is a non-believer, he doesn’t go to church. A liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced. (Unless it’s a foreign religion, of course!)
If a conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it. A liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.
If a conservative slips and falls in a store, he gets up, laughs and is embarrassed. If a liberal slips and falls, he grabs his neck, moans like he's in labor and then sues.

Just read some more. Bet your lib "friend" has NEVER lived in the country! Until government "helped" there were rural electric co-ops. And it was CHEAPER. And you got yearly refunds when they came out ahead. They made no profit except for costs. The rest was returned if it wasn't used.

That "liberal" would be Republican President Richard Nixon, who established the Environmental Protection Agency.
