Over the past week, Ive been sharing e-mails from public school teachers compulsory union members who are disgusted by their Big Labor bosses power-preservation attempts.
Another educator in Pennsylvania shared the note the teachers union there sent out to members orchestrating solidarity events:
Members, Please wear red Tuesday to show solidarity with Wisconsin teachers!
Speak up for workers rights
Show your support:
Wear red on Tuesday, Feb. 22

ACTION NEEDED The right to bargain is under attack
Dear PSEA Member,
On Tuesday, February 22, make a small but important gesture to help your colleagues across the nation. PLEASE WEAR SOMETHING RED TO WORK. As I write this e-mail, education employees and other public employees in Wisconsin and Ohio are being threatened with losing their right to collectively bargain. Many years of hard fought gains may be wiped out with a single vote in their legislatures.
Wisconsin: Governor Scott Walker is proposing to wipe away decades of collective bargaining for teachers, support staff, and other public workers in Wisconsin. The right to organize, the right to bargain health insurance or prep time, the right to have a voice in the profession all of those things and more are under attack in Walkers budget bill. Ohio: Sen. Shannon Jones revealed the language of Senate Bill 5, a bill that will have a significant impact on public employees. SB5 eliminates collective bargaining for state employees, police officers, fire fighters and employees of higher education institutions, and significantly undermines collective bargaining for K-12 employees.
What would happen if you didnt have a union to bargain your salary and benefits?
* What would your salary be? * How much would you be paying for health insurance? * Would you have a pension?
PSEA members are beginning to ask how they can show their support for their colleagues in Wisconsin and Ohio and to demonstrate their support for unions having the right to collectively bargain.
Here are two things you can do to show your support for the right to collectively bargain:
1. Show your support by wearing red on Tuesday Feb. 22. Take pictures at your work site and send them to PSEA Communications or share them on PSEAs Facebook page. Call your colleagues to make sure they know about wearing red on Tuesday. Our theme is, We Are One.
2. Sign the online petition: http://www.educationvotes.nea.org/nationalpetition

I’m waiting for the SEIU thugs to come to Miami’s Cuban district for a ‘pro-union’ action.
;-)
WISCONSIN COMES TO GEORGIA! Join us in Atlanta this Wednesday 2/23 to counter-protest the SEIU agitators who are holding a rally at our Capitol in support of the union rallies up in Wisconsin. For details & to RSVP: http://www.meetup.com/istandwithwalker/Atlanta-GA/69616/
Let the commies show themselves and their signs. It may cause an uptick in homeschooling.
That’s what eating at the public trough looks like. Animal Farm.

IT is SPECIAL ELECTION DAY in the Constitution State.
I will be wearing about 5 layers of clothes as I start going door-to-door at 7:00 a.m. in East Haven CT for Linda Monaco .... I figure I can leaflet 400 GOP doors ... and am expecting us to win 1500 to 1300 ... so I need to pad some extra votes on there.
Who says one middle-aged guy cannot make a difference?
10 degree F weather expected. Aren’t y’all jealous?
Pack heat. Be safe and warm.
Godspeed, and thanks for all your hard work. For what office is Linda Monaco running?
I lived in East Haven back in the late ‘90s, so I know that 10 degrees there feels like -5 with the wind coming from the Sound. So please do bundle up.
It warmed up here and all the snow melted.
Now it’s cold and snowing again.
I believe I saw a La Raza sign in Wisconsin. So, illegals are getting paid by OBAMA to protest in Wisconsin? I bet they are.
Hubby scouted out the SEIU union goon rally that took place today in Hartford, CT at 12 noon (part of the purple bus SEIU tour).
He says there were "a few hundred" pro-union goons there. (He said the WFSB Channel 3 reporter estimated 400-500).
Speakers were yelling and foaming at the mouth about how Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is bad, the private sector is evil, "Wall Street caused all the financial problems we have now - not teachers", Fox News lies, the Koch brothers are bad, tax the rich, yadda yadda yadda.
Usual parade of class warfare rhetoric...
Several "Scott Walker is a Communist" signs... one said "Scott Walker is a Communist Spy", LOL! Several "Tax the Rich" and "Fox News Lies" signs of course.
Socialists were passing out their literature at the rally.
He overheard the goons talking about a union stewards' meeting tonight: "We are getting lists together of people to contact." In other words, they are "organizing".
There's a national notice put out by the unions in general (Hubby couldn't specify which one): The unions are holding "emergency rallies" in all state capitols THIS SATURDAY, February 26th. There was lots of excitement buzzing through the crowd about a "star speaker" for this Saturday's rally in Hartford, CT: Some socialist woman from Madison, Wisconsin.
Susan Bysiewicz (uber-liberal former CT Secretary of State and current candidate for US Senate) spoke, but hubby didn't stay to listen to all of her whiny blathering... usual class warfare crap.
Hubby said there was a large bank of TV / other media cameras - about eight - many more than we've ever seen at any of our tea parties. He quizzed a couple of the local TV reporters to see if they had also covered the many tea party rallies we've attended in Hartford since 2009. A couple of the reporters piped up: "We were there! We covered the tea parties."
The most glaring, noticable thing at today's union thug rally in Hartford: NOT ONE AMERICAN FLAG
Hubby said it would be "interesting" for our people to show up at these "emergency rallies" all over the US this Saturday, and simply stand off to the side - away from these union thugs - holding thousands of AMERICAN FLAGS. The contrast would be glaring!
bttt
So I guess all that “new civility” Husein was preaching after AZ is out the window now? Who’d have thunk it.
SEIU brought to you by TAXPAYER STIMULUS MONEY. We’ve been robbed.
