The Commerce Clause that regulates interstate commerce is at issue in the legal battle of Obamacare. Can the federal government tell individuals that they must buy insurance? Not as well known is how the same commerce clause is destroying farms and raising food prices by stopping the flow of water from the Sacramento-San Joaquin Rivers to the Central Valley in California. The feds at the urging of the state government has literally turned off the tap, destroying prime farmland in order to benefit the sex lives of the Delta Smelt.

*** destroying prime farmland in order to benefit the sex lives of the Delta Smelt.****

A little rotenone in the water will take care of that problem, unfortunatly there might also be collateral damage.

This is not new but has been going on for a couple of years now. Half of that valley or even more is lying fallow due to lack of water. It amounts to a crime against all humanity since not only the USA but nations all over the world benefit from the produce. There should be “Nuremberg ‘ style trials of those responsible.

And a great irony of this article is that to get the votes in California for Obamacare, reps of the farm areas affected by this manmade famine were told to either vote for it, or the water would be cut off even more by the feds.

http://www.examiner.com/headlines-in-los-angeles/healthcare-votes-look-fishy-to-california-s-central-valley-water-issue

There are large farms and orchards that are dying all over California due to federal control of water to the central valley. California was once the worlds biggest supplier of Almonds, but other countries like Australia are now developing their own large scale Almond farms to pick up the slack.

So not only are we destroying our manufacturing and export industries, but also slowly destroying our agriculture industries so we will be more and more dependant on other countries to feed us.

But the area is suppose to get a bullet train that starts and ends in tiny almost ghost towns. The sierras will get an additional 7 to 9 feet of snow in the storm hitting Ca now, this is on top of 187% of normal snow pack. This is why the oceans will rise (lol)

In fact, this is an accurate assessment of the damage. One of the reasons for the Middle East "democracy" riots is the substantial increase in the cost of staple foods. Many other of the less affluent nations are hurting as well, and this won't make any new "friends" for America. Even if we give 'em money, it will only drive the price of food higher.

However the environmentalists get what they always wanted, population control, the evil bastards.
