Tea Party plans Saturday rally (Union thugs vs People in Madison)
lacrossetribune ^ | 2/18/2011 | bill novak

With all eyes on the State Capitol, a national labor leader is coming to Madison on Friday to lend support to the thousands of protesters rallying against Gov. Scott Walker's budget plan.

Walker will be getting his share of support on Saturday, with hundreds, if not thousands, of conservatives expected to converge on the Capitol for a Tea Party rally.

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka will address the protesters at noon Friday, according to an e-mail from the Wisconsin AFL-CIO.

Trumka also plans to "march in solidarity with Wisconsin workers and help prepare and deliver food to the crowds," the e-mail said.

The AFL-CIO is the largest labor organization in the country, comprised of 57 unions representing 12.2 million members, according to its website.

On the other side of the political coin, conservative group American Majority announced it is staging a rally from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the south entrance to the State Capitol.

State director Matt Batzel said in a news release that "It's time for the voices of the Wisconsin people to be heard."

"As the week has progressed, Wisconsin and the nation have watched schools across Wisconsin close, due to teachers participating in a 'sick out,' the union busing people in from other states to inflate their rally numbers in Madison, and legislators fleeing the state to avoid the vote on the budget repair bill," Batzel said.

I can tell you there are some nervous people in Wisconsin today. POTUS Obama has fueled the flames by backing the union thuggocracy. If there is violence tomorrow as the two sides protest at the Capital building, it is on Obama and the unions.

FYI, the union thugs who have occupied the Capital area all week have left trash EVERYWHERE, painted graffiti on buildings, and have no respect for civil society,.

The MSM will have a tough time showing the Tea Party as racist and unpatriotic next to the union thugs, but that doesn’t mean they won’t try.

*************

Keep your camera phone handy — get lots of great photos —

Yes, if violence breaks out between the two ‘sides’ it WILL be ‘on Obama and the unions.’

No surprise at all that there is trash everywhere and graffiti — no, the thugs out there have NO respect at all.

Wish I could join in tomorrow but I’m thousands of miles away.

From the Tea Party via email:

Rally in Madison, WI

Wisconsin's elected officials are working to keep their promises to cut spending and those addicted to the government's money are protesting it. Tomorrow the Tea Party groups in Wisconsin will have a rally in Madison at the State Capital at 12:00 noon.

If you can drive to Madison, WI by or on Saturday morning, the tea party groups are asking you to do so.

Again, the rally is at noon at the State Capital tomorrow Saturday, February 18, 2011.

Hat tip: It is our understanding American Majority and Americans for Prosperity are also helping with this effort.

Watch for additional updates as we have a team of local coordinators working on this from WI and around the country.

All- Please notice that conservative only hold rallies on Saturday because they work 5 days a week and the other day are attending church. Progressives on the other hand, can call in sick to work and then protest their employer!?!?

The MSM will have a tough time showing the Tea Party as racist and unpatriotic next to the union thugs, but that doesn’t mean they won’t try.

TEA Party members are patriotic real Americans rooted in the values of our God-inspired Founding Fathers. Unions and their members are from the anti-God, anti-American, anti-business internationalist Marxist strain. Like their Communist forebears, the rallying cry of the mob in labor unions is "Workers of the World Unite".

To make the point succinctly, along with the scourge of multiculturalism, unions are just undeniably evil.

And when the union riots are over, just take a look at the trash, filth and debris they leave in their wake. In contrast, TEA Party members are well-known for leaving an area cleaner than before they arrived.

Unless that magically mde him 2 people, there still wouldn’t be 20 senators - which is the requirement for quoracy.

Great post.
Taxpayers are fed up. The public is tired of these greedy and lazy union thugs. Hang tough Gov. Walker.
