Walker irked by Obama's meddling

Republican Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, confronted with thousands of protesters outside of the state capitol in Madison, says it would be wise for the president to stay out of his states business.
I think were focused on balancing our budget, Walker said on Fox News Friday morning. It would be wise for the president and others in Washington to focus on balancing their budget, which they are a long ways from doing.
The governor just a mere six weeks into his job added that he is not threatened by the agenda of Washington politicians. We're not going to be intimidated by people coming in from outside of Wisconsin trying to tell us what we need to do to balance our budget, Walker said. The bottom line is, we got elected to do a job.
For days, Wisconsins union members have been demonstrating against legislation proposed by Walker last week that aims to reduce the power of public sector unions and cut into members paychecks. But Walker continued to insist that his decision is not about degrading public employees.

Article IV Section 4:
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.
Obama is openly working to undermine the Republican Form of Government in Wisconsis by blocking the state's legislative process, essentially attacking it by using its apparatus against itself. He is effectively supporting the overthrow of the legislative process in Wisconsin by ignoring the Wisconsin State Constitution, just as he is ignoring the United States Constitution.
Obama, and his groups, should be blocked and restrained from approaching Wisconsis legislators on the grounds that it violates the federal government's Article IV requirement to "guarantee... a Republican Form of Government" in Wisconsis.

It sounds as if Walker is going to stay strong. I think he will. Reagan took incredible heat for the air traffic controller thing, but in the end, he won, they lost”
IF ANY of those missing lawmakers in Wisconsin have ANY sort of credit card that the state pays for, each & every one of those cards should be cancelled immediately. Leave them stranded? So be it.
IF I ran a business & had any employee who held a company credit card & I knew for sure that this person:
1. Had not come to work deliberately for the past 3 days
2. Was known to be out of the state, hiding in another state
3. Was deliberately trying tp put a finger up MY nose
I would have cancelled that credit card before 24 hours had passed. I would also tell the CC company that I would not pay a single charge past the5 PM time stamp of the last day my ‘employee’ had been known to be on the job & within the confines of the state.
4. IF that employee is driving a company car- I would report it STOLEN & ask that an APB be put out & the driver of said vehicle seized & charges would be filed. I would do this even if it was a leased car that my company paid for. If the lease car is in the name of the person driving it, I would have called the lease company & legally informed them that I was no longer paying the lease as of 5 PM the day they last worked.
5. I would research the benefits they are drawing as my employee & I would have frozen some of them, if I could.
6. I would have had my lawyer draft a letter & had it hand-delivered to their place of residence that they were no longer employed as of 5 PM the day they last worked & to return all keys- credit cards- materials they are holding currently. For security reasons, I would have locksmith’s change all office & warehouse keys & have all passwords on computers changed. Any internet fees the company is paying for their computers or laptops would be stopped.
I would be damned if I would tolerate such behavior from an employee.
It is beyond arrogant that these elected ‘officials’ are behaving in such a manner.
I wholeheartedly endorse the position taken by the person who has most recently posted.
Good golly miss molly, I think it’s time for you to switch to decaf.
Call me a leach if you want but I feel I’ve did my job well in the Air Force and I’m doing a great job working for the FAA.
Your fight isn’t with me, it’s with the liberals who keep spending money on nonsense like I see everyday of my public service. I stay where I am to try to bring some fiscal sanity and I remind the real leachs that it’s their money they are spending and not federal dollars.
Tell Sally Fist hi when it hits you in the face.
Reagan gave the air traffic controllers 48 hours to report back to work. these commie teachers planned it carefully - they are off next week... who knows WHAT can transpire between now and next week....
