The crazy part is that a couple of women journalists (one of them Banfield somebody) tried to make excuses for him and only made themselves look stupid.
I read several things by and about him, and I would conclude that he is an extreme left-wing jerk. He is a self-hating Jew who would love to watch the Muslims eradicate Israel.
Some indication of how far to the left he is, is that he joked that he’d like to see Anderson Cooper raped, too. Because he apparently considers Cooper to be a right-wing war monger.
That suggests just how far to the left he is.
God bless Lara, my heart goes out to her. I can't imagine what it must have been like the horror. This is going to take her many years to heal. If not for those brave Egyptian women and the military this woman would be dead.
