Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Sunday that Republican plans to cut $100 billion in spending in an upcoming bill to fund the government through the end of the fiscal year are realistic.
I think a lot of it is realistic, McCain said on CBS Face the Nation.
(snip)
Maybe [Tea Party freshmen] can go back and educate their voters that it may not be totally necessary, he said.

They don’t even want to cut the rate of growth. Rounding errors are more than these “cuts”. They added $50Billion in January to the estimated deficit.

Somehow I doubt John McCain has the manhood to do what my congressman has done by promising that he won’t bring a lot of money into the district.

The deficit is $1.5T.
How can spending cuts amounting to less than 10% of this NOT be necessary?
