"Pretty funny coming from a member of the delusional crowd."

Not delusional at all. 70% of voters won't even look at the candidates until a month before election. Plenty of time for Palin to win them over. By that time, the media will have fired every possible shot at her, and be out of ammunition.

A "huge" part of any presidential candidacy these days is charisma. Clinton had it, Obama had it. Bush had more than Gore. Palin has more than any of the above. Reagan "might" have had more, but in my view, it's darned close. I see NONE of the other potential candidates even showing up on the radar in the charisma category, with MAYBE the possible exception of Chris Christie, who is kind of like an English Bulldog....so ugly he's lovable just because of his ugliness.

"She in not very articulate and has pretty much zero support outside of a core group a conservative followers."

LOL. Look at the videos of her book signings. Hundreds upon hundreds of ordinary Americans turn out who have been politically non-active previously. Likewise with her speeches. I've read her books....."not very articulate" my ass.

The coming election is going to be completely different from any that has gone before. The Tea Party will see to that. The conventional wisdom is out the window. Nobody knows what will happen. The only comparative case is the campaign of Andrew Jackson, who was in exactly the situation Palin is now.....hated and reviled by the establishment and media of the day. He won in a landslide because the ordinary people supported him.

I’m always sad to see fellow conservatives who are reduced to that level of analysis of candidates. Governor Pawlenty doesn’t come across as all that great a leader to me, but he’s done some good things. He has a legitimate presidential resume. I’m not looking for an image. I’m looking for someone who will move policy in the right direction. I couldn’t care less whether he reminds some people of George Jetson, and I still have some hope that our country doesn’t analyze everyone on that shallow a basis.

Palin/West 2012, I made that my signature moments after I heard him speak at CPAC. I am hoping many people must have had the same thought. In my house it was clear as day to us all, we looked at each other and said Sarah should pick this guy as her running mate.

On top of the fact that this guy is a AWESOME guy, it would be a very smart move with only a upside in every direction. He would get some black support for sure.

I`m with you...PALIN/WEST 2012

I’ve heard the dominant liberal media say that about her support in Alaska, too.

Hit a nerve?

You could just as easily have pointed out posts of yours refuting my intimation, you know.

Cheers!

all they ever do is denegrate, and marginalize her, and other stauch Conservatives, because they know it works on some folks. and it’s working precisely as designed on you and some others here. That’s the conventional wisdom they have you believing, but, in reality, all they are doing is showing us who they fear. Perhaps I am mistaken, and you are even more prescient than Limbaugh. We shall see.

Exactly, Marco is just starting out in the Senate and we do not want him to do what Bummer did, win the Senate seat, then spend the next two-years campaigning for President.

Marco is trying to tell people this, but they are not listening. It is a serious distraction to the job he was hired by us to do. We are all predicting that Marco will one day be President maybe in 2021, after the two Palin terms.

You need to lighten up,it will be a horrific campaign and you are starting out miserable, and testy. It was not an insult, it was an observation. Now sing along with us, “here's George Jetson”...............

Ron Paul in No. # 2 spot? ?

I believe Ron Paul has a stronger backing then Palin. Perhaps she would take #2 spot, but doubt that. Still believe Gov. Palin would not subject her family to the Elite-o-Trash in Washington and their teeth bared jackals, the old MSM

Even her security is tighter now and she holds no position in government.

Funny how things change--Paul was not good enough til our fiasco under Obama, now financial intelligence and "experience" is important!

The Old Media will no longer pick OUR President. ACORN and the Unions (and their pensions) have been exposed for who and what they are--times are a'changing.

Is Sec. Clinton waiting "for her time"?

Thanks

He's not running for president in 2012 — yet. But Texas Rep. Ron Paul has a lot more support among conservative stalwarts than the massive pack of folks who have already dipped their toes in the 2012 presidential waters.

Paul won today's Conservative Political Action Conference presidential straw poll with the backing of 30 percent of participants.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney — a past straw poll
winner — finished at 23 percent.

READ MORE:

Despite the division, Paul was the run-away winner of the
straw poll. Here are the also-rans:

— Former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson, 6 percent
— New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, 6 percent
— Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, 5 percent
— Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, 4 percent
— Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, 4 percent
— Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, 4 percent
— Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, 3 percent
— Former Godfathers Pizza CEO Herman Cain, 2 percent
— South Dakota Sen. John Thune, 2 percent
— Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, 2 percent
— Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, 2 percent
— Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, 1 percent
— Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman, 1 percent
— Others, 5 percent
— Undecided, 1 percent Read more: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/blogs/nov05election/detail?entry_id=82973#ixzz1DuTMvhZk

Please show me how Congressman Ron Paul is substantially different from Representatives Eugene McCarthy, Dennis Kucinich, Governor Harold Stassen, Ralph Nader, Andy Martin, Pat Paulsen, Al Sharpton, John Hagelin, Lyndon LaRouche, Jeff Boss or any other fringe perennial candidates. You and I have a better shot at the Republican nomination, no matter what happened at FudgePAC.

We have already witnessed what 87 new GOP congressmen can do.

What have they done? I don’t think a bill has passed. Where is the budget that has not been passed since October.....not their fault from October, but it is from January.
