Fantasy for Paulbots: Ron Paul wins the CPAC straw poll and they say he can win.
Reality for Paulbots: Ron Paul will consistently carry only 3-4% of the GOP primary vote and drop out early.

Are we really going to be subjected to all these straw polls with Ron Paul again?
To: dragnet2
Forget GOProud and anything else. This result alone proves the worthless nature of CPAC period.

If Paul would happen to win against all odds he would be 77 1/2 years old the day he took office. It’s time for him to face the music - he’s too damn old.

I am a Ron Paul supporter but I completely agree with your statement. He is better served in Congress (Speaker of the House maybe) or a cabinet position.
Rand on the other hand, could make some noise in the future.

I believe Ron Paul won it in 2007 as well and it did not make any difference whatsoever.
This is an event to ignore.

There is a reason they call them "straw" polls.
It's because they mean as much as pile of straw.

hes too damn old. Well, I don't think 77 is too old today...People are living much longer nowadays.
That being said, I would guess this guy is in much better health than many others...Cheney comes to mind.
