The peace treaty that the late President Anwar Sadat signed with Israel, is extremely unpopular with the Egyptian people. If free elections were to be held, any presidential candidate who hoped to stand a good chance of being elected, may be tempted to bash Israel in his campaign speeches.
If diplomatic relations between Egypt and Israel were to be cut off, there could be big trouble. If the Egyptian government were to refuse to cooperate with Israel in maintaining the blockade against Hamas, that might ignite an Egypt/Israel military conflict.

This entire event could have been avoided or managed better if anyone had seen it coming. As a Fox News contributor said this week, there are people in D.C., and on the ground in Egypt, whose ONLY job is to find out this information. They failed miserably. Even worse, the uprising wasn’t a well-organized covert operation; it was the people talking and taking action. We should’ve known.

There have been some reports the the US State Department sponsored "demonstration" strategies in NY to overthrow the government. Probably people like Bill Ayers did the training.
Israel would go nuclear.
Their arsenal stood at 200 warheads when the Oslo Accords were negotiated in 1998. They are believed to have been adding 25 to 35 warheads per year since then.

World War III began the night Obama was elected. It’s just that open hostilities here haven’t emerged yet. They will - when he devolves this country into a Weimar Republic where money is nothing more than paper to wipe your ass with.

The only concrete action I can think of they could take would be to open the border with Gaza and openly support Hamas. That would cost Egypt a billion and a half a year in aid, though. (At least it would with any other administration. Who knows what Obozo would do.)

Yeah. Substitute "Israeli" for Cambodian and you get what aid we would afford Israel in public. In private we might just aid the Islamists. I think Israel privately understands this. Not so the 7 million American Jews.
Only Jordan is left to the surrounding. And grumblings there.
If Egypt or any muslim country started a war with Israel the rest would join in, including Saudi Arabia.
And several of them have been armed by us with M1A1 tanks, F-15s, F-16s. Modern stuff.
A very bad scenario.
Israel would be forced to use the ultimate weapons for survival.
