In the course of my inquiries into many of history's more recent controversies -- JFK, Waco, Vince Foster, Oklahoma City, Ron Brown, TWA Flight 800, 9/11, Obama's birth, the authorship of Obama's books -- I have come to see that when there are actual conspiracies afoot, they fall into two general categories, conspiracies of execution and conspiracies of concealment.
Conspiracies of execution, at least on any kind of scale, are rare in American history. The nature of our national character and the openness of our political culture war against them.
Conspiracies of concealment are another matter. When officials fail in their duties and let, say, a president get shot, a plane get blown out of the sky, or a hijacker fly into a building, their first impulse is to conceal their mistakes. Such is human nature.
To me, a "conspiracy theorist" is one who sees a conspiracy of execution where none could logically exist or who confuses a conspiracy of concealment with one of execution despite ample evidence to the contrary.
Given this understanding, it is the rare "birther" who qualifies as a conspiracy theorist. Few have conjured elaborate, impossible conspiracies on the scale Oliver Stone did in JFK or the French leftist Theirry Meyssan and others did with 9/11.
Most birthers simply want to know where and when their president was born, a not unreasonable aspiration. Few insist that they know the answer. Despite my ample research, I do not know.
All I do know is that the official story -- the one Barack Obama trotted out in his memoir and both his convention speeches -- is false. In my forthcoming book, Deconstructing Obama, I show in detail why this is so and what the alternatives might be.
If there are conspiracy theorists involved...

John Boehner would become the Acting President NOT the President. His resignation from Congress would suffice to assume that ‘office’; No Presidential Oath is given.

We, on the right, do this all the time. LIBs define us with some derogatory term and it sticks until we are using it ourselves. Birthers, pro-choice, Muslim, Islam, etc. are all wrong.
Use the correct form - doubters, murderers, Mohammedan, Mohammedism, etc. RATs are the party of death - babies (abortion), seniors (DeathCare), freedom (Socialism), America (open borders), etc.
I don’t know whom you are addressing-—you would be hard-pressed to find many people on this forum who think Obama has documented anything.
There are quite a few who want to evade the issue but among those of us who have checked it out, SEVERE DOUBT and DISGUST are the most common reactions.
And also quite a few who believe they can demonstrate a birth outside the US and/or non-NBC status due to his Brit subject father and underage mother.
But not many who think 0 is clearly eligible.
I understand your disdain for the term “Birther”...as it was foisted upon those who have doubts about Obama’s “Inaccurate Conception”, a term used by the Obama Supporters (MSNBC and FoxNews).
I use the term Birther as it is easier to write...I guess I am not as offended with the term.
I am more offended by the so-called “conservatives” who have supported and aided Obama by attacking Birthers and those who ask for the truth.....I am referring to people like Ann Coulter, Andrew Brokeback, Glenn Beck, and a few others.
Those who attack the people asking the questions about Obama’s Inaccurate Conception are just helping Obama for 2012. Just think, without the attacks....we may never have had ObamaCare passed....a Democrat minority in both House and Senate....State governments gone even more conservative....as Obama would have been politically crippled by now.
Those phony conservatives who attack those asking about Obama’s background have been the biggest boost to the Democrat party.
“Doubter” is just as short...and it was not “birthed” on DU.
The trick was to link documenters with 9-11 truthers which makes it even more insulting.

Despite the leftest best attempts to trivialize the issue and the people behind it, it only grows. This is a CANCER on the Democrat party. Cancer kills.
Call me a constitutionalist and yes I demand to see his long term birth certificate along with everything else he has suppressed. He will not be President in my eyes until he has produced them.
What if somebody pulled Hillary aside during the campaign, told her what the future held for the economy and that she "really didn't want to ride this car over the cliff"? Maybe Obama is the designated fall guy?
That's my conspiracy theory for this early Friday morning.

They love “abortion” which is the opposite of “Birth”.
The word “birth” is exquisite in it’s meaning: “beginning of life outside the womb”.
