A good bumper sticker slogan that I suspect would cause many leftist heads to explode.

IMO, the rumor was a strategically placed LIE designed to elevate the emotions and expectations of the mob in hopes of intimidating Mubarak into leaving. Now, who do you think could have been behind that???

I've seen it somewhere that Leon Panetta was behind that particular bit of wishful thinking. Maybe odumbo thought if the rumor got legs it would force Mubarek's hand.
Folks seem to forget that the REAL thugs in Egypt arre the brothers...they assasinated Anwar Sadat, gave birth to Al-Queda and formed and nurtured Muhamed Atta. Mubarek has been putting those pigs down for 30 years...he's not an easy man to intimidate.

the rumor was a strategically placed LIE designed to elevate the emotions and expectations of the mobOf course it was.. the thing is, it didn't have to come from Fibbs or Jarrett or any number of the sleaze ball 'inner circle' because they all know what the game is so there's no need to prompt them. That's how incestuous it is.

IMO, the rumor was a strategically placed LIE I agree -the fact that lie was floated told Mubarak everything he needed to know about what he deals with.
I would say that if there was any doubt in Mubarak's mind as to what course of action to take that there is none now and as such no more half-measures will be seen from him. In my opinion, now without a doubt he realizes the enemy is at the gates and he will deal with them quickly and with prejudice

Meanwhile your neighbor across the Red Sea says here, do it this way.
Of course. If Egypt falls to the islamists, then Saudi Arabia is surrounded and will be targeted to complete the caliphate.
By the way, Hu Jintao also has his back. The Chinese aren’t fans of a New World Order run by György Schwartz.

Yeah, but Rather has that relentless desire to add crazy adjectives to everything. His adjectives were as pungent (and as pertent) as a week old road kill on a Texas highway. ;~))
