All those protesters in Tahrir Square want both Mubarak and all of his men gone. Anything less will result in more chaos, the military will move in to stop it and that will ignite unrest that will eclipse anything we have seen.
To: 2banana
Suleiman was in charge of intelligence. Make know doubt about it. There will be repercussions as organizers of the protest are rounded up and sent to the chambers.

All those protesters in Tahrir Square want both Mubarak and all of his men gone. Simple response: announce Mub might step down. All the protesters converge on Tahrir Square to celebrate. Once the crowd is there, they seal off the exits, and the machine guns open up.

Mubarak has $70B in global assets and many homes around the globe.
He has the juice and the reach to get a team on the ground to get him out.

Wrong. The crowd will accept Suleiman, or they will be fired upon. The Army has made that crystal clear.
Hey it could be worse...Mubarak could put a different Suleiman in charge...

Today it’ll be burnings and overturned cars, tomorrow it’ll be bodies burning and car bombs.
It is an islamic country, after all.

Isaiah 19:2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom. 3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards. 4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

If Mubarak hand his powers to Omar Suleiman, Cairo will burn... Suleiman is the VP and is in line of succession (disability of President) and PM is next if Mubarak resigns.
